Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
Ok guys heres the basic function of the game. The seer is the key to building an alliance. The safest route to take is for the seer to use his night 1 seering as an alliance builder. If the seer hits a human, they can come out to that person and have the human come out in the thread. The human gets the psychic to come out to him and bam underground blue alliance.
The human will probably die in the process though. Alternatively if the seer hits a wolf he should probably hold the info until he has someone who can come out in the thread with the info safely. He can always try to get lucky iming a person he trusts, but he needs to be careful. Once the seer goes down it's going to be all intuition.

Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
The problem with that Manti is if the seer hits the MW night 1. That means the MW will know both blues by day 1, which is really bad. Small chance (1/11), but not-null chance.

Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
Well with this type of game people are going to have to take chances. There isn't an alliance that's going to be out there holding everyone's hand throughout the game.
If you want to build an alliance, you have to take chances. Just make the chances of bad things happening as small as you can.

So all of this just to get seer and psychic together? Is there that much to gain by having these two together? I still stick by what I said in my previous post for what the seer should do: remain in the background, work with what they can, but don't include anyone in the fold they cannot trust completely (the only one they could is if they seer psychic and it comes back Blue-- is that how seer's returns work in this game?). Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
Thanks for stealing my post about someone being MW Afro!
But he's right. It's too much of a risk to have a seered human as alliance leader. |

Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
well I'm trying to talk to people, investigate. Just kind of have to wait for night1 to end and see what happens, go from there, etc. the usual.

Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
9% is still a notable risk.
It's a 9% chance of needlessly handing the game to the wolves. |

Re: TWG LXXXIX: Simplicity
You don't make that person alliance leader, the blue in charge just uses them as a screen to speak through. There is no other way of effectively getting the seer's info out to the thread.
Discuss with me if you have reasons against this. Yes there is going to be a chance the seer comes out to a wolf if he goes to a seered green. There's also a chance he gets wolved before he gets any info out to the thread. If the green he comes out to doesn't die and he does, it's pretty obvious the mw was the seered green.
