Quitting my job today

Because discrimination issues and terrible supervising.

Was a good year and a half while it lasted.

I like what I do at my job as well, but some of the workers as well as most supervisors at my Shoppers Drug Mart lately don't understand how discrimination works. I talked it up with the person who hired me/the owner of the store and he agreed that it wasn't tolerated, but he admitted to doing it a bit himself, and I don't think he's going to adjust the way he acts, just from me working for him for the past year and a half...

I love my job, but hate my commute and the lack of sleep/free time it brings. lol.

I've had days like this, but lately at my job it feels like the higher-ups are just being nosy in the work that I do checking me up and down to see if I'm doing it correctly. They do it to only me, and it seems like they are trying to pin something on me. Either they're trying to place dirt on me to get me fired, or they are discriminating, and I do my job above perfect, I make sure of it.~

Although, considering like they're picking me candidate for getting the axe, I literally have no idea as to why they would want to fire me.

Just got back from the mall, handed in my uniform & letter of resignation.

A bit dramatic than usual, I told him that I was quitting, he said o.k, and that was all that was said.

I would have, if I didn't pin the blame on a select few at the store. Might be hectic for them for the next week or two.

School is my job. Maybe if I get another co-op educational course.

I'm fine for right now. If things get terrible, I can turn to welfare & live off that until I decide to move out or something.

I would imagine so. Eventually I'm probably going to have to move on from my current job. I really like all my co-workers and my managers. If only it wasn't part time though!

Keep your job & get a 2nd job that works around your hours.

Or, if you truly like your job & your workers, and they like you back, ask for more hours.

Indeed, I've worked up so now it's almost at 25 hours. Unfortunately I can't do more than that because of a policy they got at my workplace.

Something-something-involving no more than 25 hours whatever-whatever. HR nonsense.

Good news is I am trying to see if I can find a position somewhere within the same workplace that's also part time. Already asked around and they said I can do it.
