Default Anse le Raye

I got really good feedback from the original Anse le Raye. But i wanted to do better. So under the name "Stratus" I started working on a remix.

Its located in the rithum player:

www.rithum.com/kidmerkury

Check it out, leave comments, etc

Thanks man -- It'll be released once I finish it xD

Currently, its all finished in terms of arrangement. The structure is complete, and form, etc. Now, its making sure the synths/patches I have are the ones I really want, and then adding the rest of effects and stuff.

After that, I wanna play with the mixing to make it sound as pro as possible, and then once that's done, it'll be up on rithum.

Stay tuned!!

Thanks man - I do appreciate it

I produce with Logic Pro 9 (Mac XD) but I used to use FL Studio all before this, so i'm still pretty decent with that.

And yeah, I'm willing to do collabs as long as the style of the collaborating artist isnt too far from mine; otherwise making music becomes a headache. However, After listening to some of your stuff on rithum, I think we could make some nasty music.

Lemme know if you're up for it - Already, I could do a sweet rework of "Ethereal"

Nice, very crisp and clean, lots of movement. Props.

The kick seems like it might smush just a little around a minute in, though. And the crash a little over a minute and a half in is a bit clippy, too. Just an observation. Have you cut the really low frequencies out of the pads and such? That could help a lot.

I'll keep all this in mind - I havent finished EQ'ing anything really. I did bits of it for coloring purposes, but nothing in terms of a good mix - The demo I uploaded was just to get a feel for the energy of the remix.

I can tell the mixing will take me the longest, cause I'll want to preview it in like, a billion different environments.

But I really appreciate the constructive feedback - Anything that will help make this sound better is welcome.

So thanks bro

Just finished the mix

It's still a bit raw, but it'll give you the general idea of what I was going for..

The mp3 will be uploaded onto www.rithum.com/kidmerkury momentarily

Sorry...no download yet :P

_____Edit_______

Gotta fix some EQing and fix some fills..maybe.

Currently 60 tracks - I'll also upload a youtube vid of the project in action, so you can see what I do
