TWG XXIII Host Signups - Mead host
If you want to run for host of twg23, send me a PM, I'll add you to the list.
Host voting will start in 24 hours and will run for 24 hours, unless 1 party gives up or one person is up 10 votes on the other. 10-run rule IS in effect. ---- Afrobean No blue game. Any alliance in this game would have to be based on trust alone. This will test everyone's ability to judge people's roles, and should be very interesting. Hopefully, it'll also push the greens to work toward finding wolves instead of sitting around letting an alliance handle everything. If I host, I'll work out the numbers with TWC, but the total number of players should definitely be about the same. Oh yea, I almost forgot. Cardlfipping. It'd probably be really hard for the humans without it. And story, as I've said before, is irrelevent. I will be honest with you though, it will likely suck very badly. ------- lightdarkness 16 players, 3 wolves, guardian, seer. After every kill, their role is revealed. Immediatly after a lynch (as in, during the story) the role is annouced, same for wolfing. Making psychic useless. The story will be insanely lame, but who reads the story, honestly? We are heading back to the roots of TWG, but with "cardflippin", I'm sure it will be a fantastic game. Vote for LD! EDIT: There will be a coin flip to determin if there is a master wolf or not, the catch is, only myself and the wolves will know if it turned up in their favor or not. ------- Blahblah18 18 players If blah's senario wins, he'd be asking LD to host it, cause he wants to play it. 2 wolves, 2 mafia seer, guardian, psychic for each Devil for each (the devil is on the team that he correlates with..and each ngiht he PMs the narrator asking about a player, aka a devilsays chardish, and the narrator says Blue/not Blue, but can only seeblues that correlate with his team) Forensic Detective: The forensic Detective is told at the beginningof each day, which team killed which person, and will be the ONLY person with that information so 13 Non Green roles, and a very well balanced game, AND a gamethat won't drag to day 9 when people tail off because there are 2 killsa night. Yes I'm awesome, yes its different from what we've done, andyes it addresses every problem that's been in every game recently ------- Mead1 My game is similar to afro's, in that the blues take a bit of a backseat to actual deduction. I goes something like this: 4 wolves 1 gaurdian 1 lone green 5 teams of 2 masons Yes, 5 teams of 2 masons. Each person will have a partner, except for the lone green and the gaurdian. I have talked to several members of TWC about this, and the game is fairly balanced The story will be somewhere in the range of a War Drama kind-of thing. On the story note, I am also taking death requests. If you are going to die, and you have a specific way in which you want to die, I will work it in to the best of my ability.

I vote mead unless LD gets someone else to write the story for him. Mead is the ONLY one of the four candidates who has shown a commitment to making a good story. I don't care if Mead's story is actually good or not, but at least he's trying. Everyone else has basically said they're not even going to try.
Story IS an important part of TWG, and I don't like seeing it casually tossed aside. Without story, we could easily just have a little PHP script run the game for us and no one would need to host. LD, Flypie probably wants to write story. Why don't you take her up on it? |

I don't see how Afrobean's idea will work. It's almost like manhunt, but way too imbalanced.
LD's idea brings us back to the normal game, where a majority of us are greens. I've only been a non-green ONCE. I'm not going to take that chance again. Blah's idea is nice, but the role setup is so unclear to me that I don't understand exactly how it will work. I'd like to play it, but it needs some clarification. I love mead's idea. You always have one person to trust and confer with (unless you're the lone green), and if you're the guardian, you have a big responsibility, so you're sure to pay attention. Wolves are the same as always. It's new, interesting, and clear. This is what I've been waiting for.

Just so everyone knows, I will put some effort into the story. I just don't think it's important, so I don't even have a real idea of what the story will be about.
Also, I'd rather play than host, so my vote goes to LD. If it gets to be where I'm almost in the lead, I will move my vote to myself. Quote:

Mead. I like working with people better than working by myself, I usually convince myself to do something dumb, and then I die. I'm not going to stick out this game, so yea.

Mead. I want to wait on Blah's game until Chardish implements it (sorry, man).
If I end up lone green, I will fuck the Internet. I will do it. Don't make me.

Blah's scenario is pretty cool, but that Mead1, he's just too damn sexy.

Afrobean's totally unnecessary, but still done anyway guide to voting
Afro(0) wtf Blah(1) Hans LD(4) Tass, LD, Afro, dAnce Mead(7) Chardish, nforcer, Tps, Hiya, Qreepy, Mead, Chromer Honestly, what is the appeal of Mead's game? I don't even care if you want to play my game or not, I just want to know why anyone would want to play a game where everyone is blue. It's stupid. EDITED TO COUNT CHROMER'S VOTE

Uh... Hiyasucka and Chromer... don't think this has come up before, but I'm FAIRLY certain only people who have played TWG in the past can vote.
Also, I'm VERY wary of letting Chromer play. He has been EXTREMELY inactive in multiple past jTWGs.

I have absolutely no problem with nulling their votes. It only brings the one I'd prefer to win closer to victory.
PS yea in jTWG1, Chromer was a wolf and he made about 1 post in the whole thread. I think we ended up lynching him just because he hadn't ever posted. Then he was like "wtf why you lynch me :("
