Re: 2013 mlb post season
Saddens me that the Royals shit the bed against some bad teams in the last 6 weeks and missed the playoffs, but I'll take the first winning season in 10 years and be happy

Re: 2013 mlb post season
Even the Penguins are hype for the Pirates. In their defense, it's the first time the local sluggers have had a winning record in over 20 years, let alone made the playoffs.

Except if you grew up in one of the remaining team's markets.
(Mom's a St. Louis fan, while I root for the Tigers because I never get the chance to cheer for the Brewers) |

Re: 2013 mlb post season
Oh man, tonight's game was so close. Thought for sure Colon was going to be an ace in the hole but that early damage in the first inning wrecked the A's

Re: 2013 mlb post season
They know they got extremely lucky with that first inning. They played so poorly the following 8, it was a shallow win for them

C'mon, Tampa!!!
You won two elimination games. I'm sure you can win three more. |

Re: 2013 mlb post season
I'm rooting for an Athletics/Pirates series. My Phils were a bucket of yuck this year. Cardinals can go straight to hell. Dodgers are the opposite of what a baseball team should be, and if one more person compares Vin Scully to Harry Kalas I'm going to strangle them. Atlanta haunted my nightmares throughout my childhood so nope to them. Detroit just won one but I wouldn't be against seeing them play again. Boston, Tampa, and anyone else from the AL East can take their crap elsewhere. I don't want to see it.
