ok guys i play ffr in low res. its still really crummy ( odd) but this is so wierd i downloaded stepmania and its works fine !!!!!!!!! <(-.-)> ohh my gosh man!
ohh and also wats tasslefoots e mail adress?! <(-.-)>!

I read that just fine.
Maybe you're just an asshole.
It could be running slow because when you're playing FFR, you're chatting on an IM program and having other programs running, which slows down everything. But when you play StepMania, it's full screen and you don't want anything else running because something of that program could pop up and ruin your score, so you turn it all off.
