Hey,

I still hear people talking about charts and rates and divisions, and about how silly some of the ratings on the old and dated spreadsheet are. The etterna calculator is cool, but if people wanted to go in and make changes or additions to the old spreadsheet, this is a version of it that is editable by anyone.

There isn't anything more to it, really.

Let's be honest here a spreadsheet anyone can edit is dumb. It is also inconvenient and subject to bias. Divisions are just concept that should die, it doesn't make sense to group charts in chunks for no reason when we have actual values to look at regardless of how accurate they are at the moment. Tristan is also just dumb so there is that.

At least this spreadsheet serves as a list of recommendations for songs around my skill level and pertaining to my interests.

the answer to those questions are eze and everyone, respectively
it was roughly 2014, smleaderboards and etterna hadn't yet happened, and there was a fairly tightknit group of high-level players trying to figure out how to rank people slightly more objectively

I should be clear that unless I add links to more pack downloads that aren't super easy to come by (which is pretty plausible), this spreadsheet is nearly identical to the old one. It's only better than the old one by whatever changes people make to it.

Sure, trying to make the spreadsheet a viable thing is worth ridiculing. This is just marginally better than what people still keep referring too.
