As for that, I think it's decided for you.
I'd probably end up in Boulder, although I'm more of a Vegas man.

Re: Swine Flu
Really young and really old people are generally the ones with weaker immune systems.

Re: Swine Flu
True, but the main characteristic that differentiates H1N1 and the normal flu is that young to middle-aged people are more susceptible to H1N1 as opposed to the elderly and very young. That's not to say though that any one group of people isn't vulnerable.

Re: Swine Flu
Dear thread, please get smarter.
500-something death? PLEASE. Regular strains of the flu kill thousands of people every year. EVERY YEAR. Yes, it is scary to have a flu that was unexpected and therefore not vaccinated against, but it happens from time to time. It is just a flu virus. It can have a strong impact on your respiratory system and sometimes even cause death, but it's still the flu. Prevention is the same as any other flu, and there's even a vaccine in the works. Stop freaking out at each other. PS hi. |

Re: Swine Flu
Alright, I know I'm four pages late on this, posted at 6:30AM and haven't had internet time since then.
@krunkykai: I'm not someone like rqm who has nothing nice to say about anyone. I just thought it was kind of funny that he was always dissing on swine flu victims and now he's one of them. I'll admit my post was rude, fair enough? Geez, can't even joke around on these forums anymore... Do get better revo, I'm not responsible if you turn into a zombie. :>

Re: Swine Flu
Its just the fact that its present thats pretty scary. Plus its airborne, if we get a "bad batch" of fleas over here were pretty screwed.

Re: Swine Flu
I'm pretty sure that after 650++ years they've managed a decent vaccine for the bubonic plague. But, I could be wrong. ****ing America.

Re: Swine Flu
The only reason why people are worrying is because of the uncertainty of how H1N1 can behave and how much it will spread during prime time flu season coming right up. It might very well be worse, or we might have already experienced the worse. The lack of knowledge is what scares people the most, so just hold tight, do your usual sanitary practices, and go on with your life...
