Do not bump old threads. Read the rules.
Then again, this isn't an awful bump; I guess conversations could continue. Whatever.

This random guy added me on MSN, told me to join FFR, and blocked me.True story!
4 years later, I'm still here... on a new account.

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
TheSeventhSign showed me FFR in early 06. I still had dial up then, but I went to college in the fall of that year where I had way better internet, and I signed up within two weeks of the start of school.
It's been history ever since. |

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
Someone convinced me to play when I was 12 years old (around January 2004) in the school library. Played as anonymous before finally registering two months later. =o

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
I was googling a stock online (forget which one) and accidentally typed FFR. Then, I pressed feeling lucky and I went straight here. It was fate that brought me here.

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
I saw someone playing it and I thought "that looks interesting"...
asked them what it was... and I couldn't join when I first found out about it (3 years ago). I first forgot the site for a while, but I didn't care at first... because I didn't have internet access. Then I got internet access, but still didn't remember... so I went back to the same person (took a while) to find out the site, then finally joined after having to find out what an e-mail was. |

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
I was in tech tools and the students were all grouped up around this one kid and I was wondering what the fuss was all about so I went and looked then saw it for the first time. I was amazed at how cool ffr looked so I tried it on my own that night. Ever since then I fell in love with the game. This was around the year of 06'.

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
I remember being shown FFR by a friend of mine back in high school and watching him play Flight of The Bumblebee. All I could think of was how cool it was that he could do it so well. I had played ITG2 for a little bit before then, so I didn't really need any in depth explaining, but I never even thought of joining until after high school ended. I joined using my counterstrike name, and have been here ever since.
I need to play more though, I like the recognition for doing something well, just as everyone else does. |

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
I googled "online stepmania." I wanted to find and interact with others who played stepmania. I didn't join for awhile because I had dial-up, but I eventually joined. 3 years later and I'm still enjoying this community.

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
Continuing bump:
Some guy on Halo 2 was blasting music through my headset. Me: "That sounds awesome! What is it?" Him: "It's a song from a site called Flash Flash Revolution." Me: "Yeah?" Him: "It's like DDR for your fingers. It's really fun. Has some more awesome songs." Me: "Sounds good." I randomly decided to check the site out 2 weeks later.

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
My old friend told me about it when I was at his house, he was playing something in the rock section. I was already hooked on DDR then, so I was instantly interested. He played it like any other flash game, so eventually he forgets about it, but I'm still here.
Me: "Hey, remember that game FFR you showed me? With the arrows?" Ryan: "Uhhh.... what?" |

Re: How'd You Find Out About FFR
This dude named David in my tech class in 4 years ago was playing CIA Rave and I thought it looked freakin' ill so I decided to try it out myself. My school was participating in this tablet computer program, so I would play it in class after I was done with work and stuff. I would always mash hard stuff and he would laugh at me. But now I'm like 101342048x better than he ever was muahahahahaha
