Gallstones
I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them.
I had one yesterday after not having one for a year and a half and it was the absolute worst, uuuuugh. Anyone else have them and have any suggestions to maybe relief some of it besides hot showers and pain killers? I should write down suggestions and try every single one when it happens again. If you've never experienced a Gallbladder attack then my goodness I hope you never do. It's god damn maddening! |

Re: Gallstones
I had them and had to have my gal bladder removed. It had me to the point where I had pancreatitis and had to stay in the hospital for a week prior to the surgery. It really sucked.

Re: Gallstones
I don't know if I want to remove mine. I've read some horror stories that you become more susceptible of indigestion and all that good stuff. I would not like to trade that, heh.
Also I don't have money to even afford it |

Re: Gallstones
I didn't have a choice but to have it removed, it can get to that point unfortunately. I didn't have the money or insurance at the time either. After being in the hospital for a week and having surgery and all I came out with like $100,000 in debt. Fortunately the hospital's charity care took care of a good portion of it but I still have debt from it to this day and the surgery was in 2007.
I will say I have had stomach issues ever since personally but then you have people like my uncle who had it removed and eats whatever he wants and has no issues at all.

Re: Gallstones
My Boyfriend had this happen a few years ago when he was visiting me in Calgary, he was in the hospital for 2 weeks and it was scary. He was in so much pain.
