Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
most people are gonna laugh b/c i think nobody but me liked my cut of Lovely City from the stepping contest (I still need 2 finish that up for you guys by the way), but honestly cutting is a really important thing to not fuck up and it's REALLY easy to fuck up, so I'll take it if no one's doing it. also let yosh keep the sync vid. the way i sync is really ass-backwards and takes 100x longer than it needs to lmao.
still tho the offer for the audio equipment video is on the table. it's not completely necessary but if you've got money to blow it can make stepping a lot easier. |

Put you in for the song cutting https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
Not too sure on the audio equip stuff, perhaps down the line. My main focus is getting the I guess we'll call them core videos done and on the channel, then start filling in with other stuff that fits in with FFR. Also just wanted to say if anyone that volunteers for a video for any reason ends up not being able to do it anymore it's no problem just let me know asap so I can fill up that slot. Thank you so much for all you guys have been doing so far, I really appreciate it. |

i do not want duplicates either but i do want high quality content. so i wanted to research more before i gave any actual commitment so i wouldn't get stuck doing something i felt someone else knew better. i'm fine just making graphix, but i'll most likely, if anything, do something low priority like a Legacy engine tour. ------------------------ well now that you updated the assignments, a velo tour is something i feel comfortable doing.

Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
Once I finish up with R^3 Tutorial, I'd like to also do Terminology though if someone who isn't signed up for one already wants to do that then I encourage them to do it over myself (because I already have two tasks to be done).
EDIT: If anyone needs a screen capture software, I am currently using TinyTake to do my videos, although I haven't gone in-depth with customization of bitrate, audio quality, etc.

Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
iirc Fraps is at its best when you fully pay for it (used to use a pirated full version years ago but no longer have it for reasons), so I would assume it is good.
EDIT: iirc also there is a Watermark on the Free Version of Fraps.

Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
ok realtalk do all of these videos have to be serious
can I make a video illustrating the many different types of rhythm gaming mascots and the importance/unimportance of playing in their presence e.g. booby's rolan mcdolan's special ability 'big jac' helps him get shit like 4p cruel whole ok whereas my hamburglar's prized 'haha fuc u' likes to steal good scores in like the last 20 notes is archowl allowed to make a video on optimizing your diet for rhythm gaming can I make a video tutorial for how to play efficiently on the toilet (this is actually important imo) can someone make a video explaining why adding waifus to any game increases popularity by a minimum factor of 50 Last edited by One Winged Angel; 09-24-2015 at 08:33 PM.. |

Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
Anyone want to volunteer to do the site tour video? It's the only one on the high priority list that hasn't had anyone claim it yet. I'm just looking for a basic video that would show newbies that hey we have forums, a chat, a place for videos, stuff like that. Just the simple stuff, not in depth this is how you change your settings, whatever. That stuff we can do later on.
If not I'll just hop on it but figured I'd see if anyone else was willing first. I'm doing a lot of things at once right now. |

Re: In Need of FFR Official YouTube Channel Contributors
Hey there, I put myself down for gameplay showcases in the OP form.
I was thinking about doing a tutorial that shows how many different ways the game can be played when you mess around with settings. Like, for example, I used to play with the arrow keys and notes scrolling up and was able to FC level 12s at most. Then one day I changed to ASKL with notes scrolling down and I changed the note shape to obular to make the game look close to Guitar Hero (which Im great at) and now I can FC up to level 50s I think it'd be nice for newbies to know they can change their options to match other rhythm games that they might be more comfortable with and close some of that initial skill gap. If anything it'll make the game less intimidating. Also, Ive been using OBS since it was released to stream on Twitch so if necessary I can make a video tutorial that explains OBS's settings and how to get the highest quality video out of it. It might be a cool thing to have on the channel later on for people that might wanna screen capture or even stream their gameplay and whatnot. It sounds like it could even be useful right now lol |
