What's your FFR Style?
This is just as the title says. Just curious overall.
In short, what is your strongest play point of play, how did you get there, and any advice on. Stream, jump stream, jacks, burst. Anything. I'd have attached a poll to this, but in short, I forgot. For me, it's bursty files, such as The Games we played 1, Tell me a Story, and Autumn Insomnia session. Honestly, the best way that I can say improve on this is simply getting into it by sound. Generally, it's something that I've always been a non-pattern based player. Awkward timings really don't bother me as long as it's on beat. Last edited by Xenorosth; 06-27-2016 at 04:02 AM.. |

Re: What's your FFR Style?
i feel like the more you improve the less you have strengths and weaknesses
like, your jumpstreaming won't be at a ridiculous level compared to your burst ability and stuff two possible exceptions are wristjacking and vibrating, but even wristjacking sort of improves to be on a similar plane to other skills and vibrating is more SM/FFRMania so i know less about it |

the endless debate over difficulty stems from the fact that people hyper-specialize as they cross into and beyond d7 it just doesnt seem this way on ffr because ffr challenges like less than half a skillset Last edited by MinaciousGrace; 06-27-2016 at 08:11 AM.. |

JS/Bursts
A.K.A Serious Shit & Staple on Smile My speed is getting noticeably faster and I have incredible jump control with jacks (just jumps, alternating quads/hands/jumps gets problematic for me).

Re: What's your FFR Style?
im good at short 500 bpm streams and short sections of dense 300 bpm js but thats it
you get good at it by playing files with short 500 bpm streams and short sections of dense 300 bpm js

Bursty patterns that I can memorize and somehow do well on. That's how I AAA'd songs in the low-80s range that not many others at my skill level could do, on my other account.
(Examples: Coactive, Mephisto Waltz, Einstein-Rosen Bridge, Tenimuhou, etc.) |

Re: What's your FFR Style?
that's not that weird, actually. You're not the first I've seen with that kind of setup.
