Online dating reminds me of chobits in a way. MANY People are starting to feel unconfortable about talking to the opposite sex or same sex in person. So online dating can be that alternatives. I might be getting out of line but thats why i kept it not in general.

online dating only works if you actually meet the person, if you never decide to meet then you can't be in love....you're just infatuated with the fantasy of what this person describes themselves as, even though they may be the complete opposite!

Online dating is good only pretty much if you've met the person, but you can't always see them. So you can keep in touch and see them if on like, spring break or something.

Personally I think it's for fat old white men living in their mother's basements.
Real life dating is probably so much better (even though I've never dated before because I fail at socialising). You get to actually see, touch, and be with the person. Quote:

I dont know im in a standstill here. Cuz some people just dont have it when it comes to real life so online dating makes em feel better since they got a gf and/or bf. But you dont know who that person is either. It could be a 50 year old guy pretending to be a 13 year old girl! Also if it actually is a kid how do you know that that person isnt hot amongst school and has different dates everyday??!! You really never know unless you meet them yourself. Like i said its a standstill for this young man....
