Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Lloyd: He's alright, I guess. He says "I guess" too much, I guess. His most reedming factor is that he isn't a ****** and he's okay with saying "**** YOU" to all logic and reasoning. I guess.
Colette: The bitch does NOT understand the concept of "attack from far away". Christ. But, she is a lot less annoying than most female protagonists, and her voice isn't irritating. Genis: ****ING AWESOME. Kratos: Faaaaaaaaag. Obviously has the hots for Lloyd and sometimes has trouble keeping control over his sexual desires for 14-year-old boys. His "mysteriousness" is actually his attempt to stay in the closet. Raine: Damn, that bitch is FINE. If she wasn't level 7 and Kratos level 8, I'd switch them so she could be fine in battle too. She should get an S&M thing going on, what with being a teacher and all. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Genis is an annoying little bratty ******.
Surprisingly, Raine is probably my favorite character. Kratos is important later, but I'm sure you can tell that. Colette is incredibly cute, this never changes. Lloyd is Lloyd. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
To me it's all about who, now? Let's not even give their names away. =). I won't go into them though I don't want to spoil it for Omega.
Lloyd: He's lovable enough. Genis: He'll Indignation your face. Collette: Meh. Kina funny. Kratos: Blah Blah Blah Raine: Revitalise! I won't go into the other characters yet though because like I said I don't want to spoil it for Omega.

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Four more characters, Omega.
And yeah, very few people keep Colette in their party. Personally, my big two were Lloyd and Genis. Lloyd's the most fun melee character and Genis has some EX skills you can get later on to make for an instant-cast. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Colette? YAWNBORING. I loathed every battle in which I had to use her.
Lloyd? All right... I guess. Good fighter, not the greatest hero. Raine? I'd hit it. Genis? All I remember about him is yelling "INDIGNATION!" That's all I care to remember, too, since it fills my heart with warmth and my enemies' bodies with burning. Kratos? YAWNBORING. I've already got all the good skills with Lloyd, so why would I want his boring, poorly voice acted ass on the screen any more than I had to? OSHI! WHITE TEXT FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO READ! Sheena? My love, where were you all game and why did you have such crappy skills? I used her because I loved her character so much. Presea? She could have been cool, I suppose. Regal? Didn't use him enough. Pretty cool character, but not terribly exciting in Battle. Zelos? HERE WE ARE. I've never laughed so much playing a video game. Decent combat-wise, but absolutely hilarious everywhere else. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Lloyd: He's ok. never really had the chance to try him.
Genis: Like my favorite character, however, once again, never got to try him out. Colette: I liked her, and actually was good with her, only cause I got stuck playing as her. (even though I bought the game) Kratos: Pretty cool. I actually liked him better than Lloyd for some reason, yet once again, never got to try him. Raine: Couldnt live without her. (literally) she is awesome, especially later in the game. Last edited by talN64; 06-13-2007 at 01:57 PM.. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
zomg Guido. If you want a true Indignation, you have to see it in Tales of the Abyss.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-D3gRs9aEs This is funny too: comparing all of the Indignations from all the games: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubAYSghkF6w pps - indignation judgment - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9C1vlx7XvFw ppps - TotA's main character is like Zelos x 1000 Last edited by Squeek; 06-13-2007 at 01:04 PM.. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
He has First Aid and casts it constantly. And considering my gameplay style seems to be "rush into the giant group of monsters in an attempt to hit them all in one strike", I need all the healers I can get my hands on. Guarding? Pshh, who needs guarding? That's what DEF is for.

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Zelos is the best character by a lot.
Tales of Symphonia's storyline is pretty layl, but it has good characters. Tales of Abyss has a good storyline and better characters. I'm not sure why it doesn't get as much attention as ToS does, because it's clearly a far better game. The best Tales game of all, in fact. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
Lloyd = Robin
Robin = Lloyd Win. (Teen Titans is great) When I bought ToS I was like "holy **** Lloy is Robin!" woot. All the characters are great except for Colette I suppose, she's ****ing dumb.

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
well, I guess the reason ToS gets more attention, is because it's one of the few (very few) rpgs for the gamecube, while the ps2 has so many good rpgs already for it. I think thats how it goes anyways.
to Fallen: lol is he really? I knew that voice sounded familiar |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
The PS2 port of Tales of Symphonia far outsold the Gamecube version in Japan.
This is because nobody cares about the Gamecube. |

Re: Omega's analyzation of ToS Characters
I dunno I absolutly hated Zelos but really only because i couldn't stand his personality, a bit of a pretty boy jackass. Also I never would use two swordsmen in one party despite their diffrent styles.
