How much weight will ITG make me lose(1m credit prize)

170. I'm also curious as to what you look like because I'm also 5'10'' but I weigh 185 and want to GAIN 5-10 pounds. It's good you want to better yourself but to me it seems as though someone 5'10'' should weigh like 170 minimum. Any less seems, well, no offense but more unhealthy than anything.

You realize anything more than 175 at 5'10" is considered overweight BMI wise right? Around 155 is the direct center of healthy weight for 5'10", with around 140 being classified as underweight. But yeah I do understand it depends on you're body type and your goals, but think about it, Im trying to be a fast moving ITG player, not a linebacker for the NFL

Playing on foot when being slightly overweight is a gigantic pain in the ass. If I weighed less, something like what I guessed, I would be able to move myself faster and with more ease.

In my experience, weight doesn't have that much effect on ITG performance especially if one uses the bar. Sure, you can't be obese, but I was able to pass songs like Dokudenpa, Welcome to Rainbow, and Through the Fire and Flames when I was ~165lbs. There were also a few members in our crew who were 180+lbs who could pass 11s and 12s.

If I remember correctly you are also quite muscular. So yeah, there's no way in hell you'd ever hit 150 without losing a lot of muscle.

There really isn't much physical demand for most 11-12's, you just have to have decent footwork and timing.

lol, i would never go by the BMI chart. that basically tells anyone with a decent amount of muscle mass that they are overweight, even if that person is in excellent physical health. i understand everyone has different body types and goals and that's perfectly fine. i know your not trying to be a bodybuilder/football linebacker (lol) but i feel like you shouldnt rely on the BMI scale and i think if you were 165-170 you could still move as quick as someone that is 150-155.

But think of it like this. A lot of what I play is stamina oriented. Do you think you can run a 2 mile race faster with an extra 20 pounds hanging on to your stomach, with everything else constant?

I have never met a person that is 5'10'' and weighs 175 and has a noticeable gut (especially a 20 lb gut). in fact that doesn't seem possible. all i'm saying is that with your height, you COULD be 170 and really toned and be in the best physical shape with excellent stamina. I agree with you that if someone has a gut they will obviously be slower. In my mind I say that average for 5'10'' is 170, hence why that was my guess.
