Default Taxes

How much are each of you getting back on your returns this year? I ended up owing about $200 on federal, but am getting close to $600 on state. Pretty low amounts, but I'm still happy with that.

Probably at least $1,000. I know I'm getting around $750 from the military and then whatever taxes got taken out of my unemployment.

Did my taxes last month but: $1,900 for federal and $2,100 for VA and MD states combined.

I owed tho.. Catch of being a well-tipped server.

I ended up getting back nearly $1,000 with federal and state combined. My secondary job paychecks (at the arcade) have hardly anything taken out for taxes, which would usually be a problem come next year, but I have extra taken out of my primary checks to compensate. I have so little taken out from the secondary checks because its my "spending" money which I usually just cash, whereas my primary checks go straight into my back account for bills. I try not to use my debit card for anything but living expenses.

Its a weird little system but I have yet to owe money, so it works for me.

Taxes work different here, so we don't find out til April. I don't work (SAHM) but my partner does and I know we'll be getting at least 2K of £ back from petrol alone, which then gets used up in petrol for work next tax year...

Tax back? I don't think I've ever had a tax rebate... UK tax system has actually sorted things pretty well for me, and I make sure to check every few months to make sure I'm not being stiffed on my income tax

I'll probably be getting 2500-3000 back this year. Hooray tax deductible tuition tax credits.

With Devon on this one. Full-time job + school loan reimbursement + write-off on my LLC = $2,700 back.

That means MacBook Pro + Rane 62 for me hehehe
