Firefox Randomly Missing Notes?
I've had this problem playing FFR with Firefox for as long as I can remember. Every now and then, the notes on any given song will stop working for just the tiniest fraction of a second, and that fraction of a second is long enough for me to miss ONE note. It happens every 50-100 notes, and I don't really know how to fix it.
I used to play FFR a lot on IE, but the problem with IE is that the game will lag terribly for no apparent reason, and I figure that THAT will be harder to fix than just a couple of notes not registering. Note that this isn't consistent; I don't miss the same notes over and over again, it's always just random notes within any song I play, and it's getting extremely annoying. If you have any suggestions, please help out! |

Have you tried standalone?

Re: Firefox Randomly Missing Notes?
I'm having the same problem and I really think it is associated with lag. I noticed that the more I lag, the more this problem is frequent so try to reduce lag as much as possible. (go click on the link Ninty posted, there's some tips on how to reduce lag)

Re: Firefox Randomly Missing Notes?
Heh, didn't think it would be that easy. Thanks Ninty!
Also, my computer doesn't lag that often, especially not for a game like FFR. I figured it might've just been an internet-related thing, because Stepmania runs just fine. Anywho, conflict solved, now I have a standalone of FFR as well. Again, Thanks Ninty. |
