So uh.
Let's get my specifications out the way first:
Windows 7 on Flash 11 standalone playing with Razer BlackWidow Stealth Edition with QWOP setup. all drivers updated So, recently I have been trying to get back into the game and it is utterly impossible for me to do so. My keyboard seems to register multiple presses of a button even though that does not happen which seems to hit things that are a) not there b) entire frames early. I am fairly certain it is an FFR > software rather than hardware because a) nothing ever gets typed double here, and it registers my keytaps perfectly on SM; never twice never frames early. Now, what can I do to remedy this -- if this is no fixed I cannot compete and am frankly ****ed. Replay for analysis here: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...replay/156654/ |

Re: So uh.
I had the same problem when playing my tourney song. I've gotten multiple suggestions saying you should use Flash10. What I did (since I believe this issue is temporary) is I just used the in browser engine lol. Hope this helps. D:

If that suggestion doesn't work, try switching your key set up to see if the problem persists. If it does ... welp.

Re: So uh.
Flash 10 on Velo's engine sadly does not fix either the random boos nor framer issues. Will test it on different engines.

Re: So uh.
Try the key setup switch. Clear your cache too ... then again idk if that even does anything. ;_;
Oh! Are you running any hot key program or whatever? Maybe you have a hot key on like one or two of your key setups.

Re: So uh.
Thanks for all your help Maggie, it was the key setup which NEVER GAVE ME ISSUES WITH FFR BEFORE.
It appears one of the buttons sends too many signals to FFR to press that specific button. Go figure!? Oh well, time to get used to a new setup. |

Re: So uh.
Ew, that's so gross. But yeah, keys get worn out and damaged. :/ Glad you figured it out!

Re: So uh.
I gotta dedicate this one to you... honestly. Key Setup was one of my last concerns but now it looks like I'm a "proud" zx./ player
Also thanks for F9, carlos. If something ever goes wrong I have all 3 now. |
