TWGXVIII: LD wins (Wolves win on day 8)
Prologue
Plans were being set into motion. Middle Earth was on the brink of a battle, and all over, everyone was awaiting the outcome. Theoden of Rohan, with Aragorn by his side, awaited news from Gondor. Frodo and Sam were continuing their journey with Gollem as their guide through a passageway in to Mordor. Gandalf and Pippin had set out on their quest of greeting the Stuart of Gondor, Lord Denethor, to bring news of Mordor’s next strike. Men from the South and the Coast traveled on oliphants and ships to conjoin with Mordor’s armies in a battle against the remaining men that Middle Earth had left, as the Witch King of Agmar prepared in Minas Morgul, awaiting Sauron’s call. --- The stars were out, and the sky was clear; a grand night for a party. Muffled singing and shouting came from inside the large castle-like building resting atop an enormous hill that resided in Rohan. Legolas stood outside the door as smoke fumes emitted from the elven-made pipe he had received as a gift in Rivendell. Legolas pondered over the events to come. What would happen to Middle Earth? Would all that was good left be smothered under the reign of Sauron? The outlook was not hopeful; Legolas knew of the stirrings beneath the Earth. Sauron was building an army, not only orcs, but legions of men who would bounce at the call of Mordor. With the Witch King of Agmar leading Sauron’s troops into an epic battle against Gondor in the future, there was little chance of men being able to defeat them. Aragorn stepped outside. “Something troubling you, friend?” he questioned. “No, not at all, just thinking. How’s the party going?” “Everyone’s relaxed at the time-being,” Aragorn replied, as he held a pint of home-made beer in his hand, “their minds are not focused on the issues that will be at hand in the near future. They deserve that.” “Good. Shall we go inside?” Legolas stepped inside the door with Aragorn following closely behind. The laughter brought a smile to their faces as they exchanged a few words in an elvish dialect before joining in on the celestial affairs taking place inside. --- PMs have been sent out. It is Night 1, wolves, guardian (Aragorn) and seer (Legolas), send me your picks over PMs. You have 24 hours to do so. No one should reveal their character names to ANYONE unless they are in an alliance. This is cheating, and if I hear that this is happening, you will be punished. 2 phantoms = 1 game ban. Also, I’m not taking any of this fairy boy “I couldn’t get to a computer in 4 days” BS. Be active. If you’re not posting I’ll pester you. You’re lucky that I’m going to, most hosts won’t. It was night, and all was quiet. The stars were veiled as Aragorn set out for a midnight ride with Eomer, Legolas, Gimli and Theoden across the vast fields of Rohan. The five talked of their plans if Gondor was in need of their help. Theoden hoped that at least 15,000 would come to him from all around Rohan if he ever had to call on them.
The five walked slowly upon the hills. All of a sudden, a pack of Uruk-Hai were running towards the group on horseback. Eomer, Legolas, Gimli and Theoden began to gallop away from the oncoming orcs as Aragorn’s horse reared in terror of the shouting and terrible group of half man, half orc. Aragorn fell to the ground as his horse galloped after the other four. The Uruk-Hai walked straight up to Aragorn, lying on the ground. Aragorn stood up and began to defend himself against their strength and brawn, but there were too many of them. He took one swift but forceful blow to the head, and he fell to the ground. The leader of the Uruk-Hai grabbed his sword and beheaded him. There lay Aragorn, son of Arathorn, heir to the throne of Gondor, beheaded and lifeless. The other four had stopped as soon as they realized Aragorn was not with them and looked back in terror. They contemplated over returning to the site to fight the orcs, but soon realized they were outnumbered with no hope of staying alive. The four solemnly returned to the castle with the ill news of Aragorn’s death. All of Rohan was full of sorrow. They wouldn’t know how they would carry on without their true leader. The outlook was not good, and many men became fearful of the future. Gondor’s future king was dead. --- It is now Day 1, and HansSky, the guardian, has been killed. You have until 9:30pm EDT on Monday to make your votes. Remember, 2 phantoms = 1 game ban. So now we're without the guardian, and the psychic is no longer in the game for some reason. :< Legolas better be dead on with his accuracy.

Gonna start the day out by voting for Tass, he hasn't been active throughout the entire night, and I think thats just an excuse to stay out of the spotlight.

well. probably a normal selection by the wolves, good player, less-likely to get guarded than blah or chardish, etc etc. sucks that he had to be the guardian though =/.

Hmm. Well that DOES mean he didn't guard himself.
So either he had a reason to not guard someone else, or he randomly guarded a better player like Chardish or something.
