The first 90 skill tokens & first 34 normal tokens all look like they are placeholders in this case. Then again, made all those tokens with the original intention of when either people get bored of making token graphics, or need a placeholder. ^_^;

Surprised it got as much attention as it did, I was pretty certain that someone else would take on the task of making tokens ahead of time because they'd have a proper degree in photoshop badassery.

I've always put statistics with competitiveness. The more various types of leaderboards you have, the more players will try and out-do each other to be on those leaderboards. And since FFR is what I would call a competitive game (in some aspects anyway), it could motivate people to get higher ranks/better positions on the boards. And what comes with being recognised? INTERNET FAME! (or FFR Fame). With that being said, I'd like to suggest a bunch of statistics that could be implemented on profiles and the site, such as:

NOTE - These would be separate from the daily stats. This would be like like an 'All-Time' records board.

- Most Arrows Hit in a Day (sitewide)
- Most Perfects Hit in a Day (sitewide)
- Most Boos Hit in a Day (sitewide)
- Aside from the top 10 daily GT, you could have another page with top 100? (sitewide)
- Most credits earned in a day/week/month (profile and site)
- Best (or top 5) AAA (profile only)
- Best (or top 5) SDG or BF (profile only)
- Highest GT achieved in a single day (profile only)
- Times Reached 100m/250m/500m/1b GT in a Day (profile only)
- Song Most Played (profile only)
- The Regional Ranks could be extended to top 20-50?

Another idea was to turn the sitewide daily stats into a community leaderboard (while still keeping the daily stats). Like, how many arrows can the community hit in a day? Or how many AAA's the community can manage in a day. You could even go one step further and have a link to all the players who participated and even have what they contributed to that day. This could lead to future community events or similar.

lol i'm freaking 11th :<



i've always wanted a function to just show songs based on difficulty then based on ranks within the difficulty i.e. good count, FC, AAA. something like that. when you sort by difficulty now its kind of random...

Nice suggestions overall. These three are already in existence to a certain extent, just not openly displayed by default on your profile.

For Best (scores) there is currently a top 10 Level Stats section on the profile where you can pick up to 10 of your best scores to display on your profile. An example of this can be found on my profile under the "Recent Games" tab.

Most played can be looked at on levelranks, sorted by play count. Again, not a displayed stat but you can look at it if you want to.

Someone should be in charge of (at least) listing suggestions that are being made. Website development would be even more user-centered and it will be easier for developers to take decisions. Velo kind of started to do that in the OP and the Trello board was a great idea -that was soon forgotten.

Of course, I could do it myself, but I can't be part of too many long-term projects. I feel like the Trello board could handle that task very well. It just needs a little more exposure.

How about allowing secondary keys?

For example I can assign up down right left twice so that I can choose to hit a beat with either hand. That would be Coooooool and probably allow some creative new finger strategies and advanced techniques! Then 8 fingers could potentially be used.

What Sax said. And there's already a such thing as 8key mode in stepmania, I think Velo had more keys but that was ages ago and he was only testing things out.

The double setup is really only good if you can't handle jacks and want to tap 2 keys to keep up.

I have a good thought to bring up: Do you think the requirements of Here We Go are too hard and should be moved down? Think of all the 90's we have in-game and how hard it is to get Here We Go now. I am "for" the downgrading of this skill token to maybe perhaps 90% FC's or something like that.

I would second this, when here we go was originally introduced, there were far fewer charts 85+. If anything, I would recommend to at least take it down to 95%.

The way I see it, Here We Go is now only accessible to mid-high D6 and all of D7 tier since there are so many 90's introduced into the game and not many people like/can FC those including myself.
