Re: The Fitness Thread
My school and work schedule are too much for me to allow anything during the week. Looks like the weekend is the only time I'll have for exercise.

Re: The Fitness Thread
Uh oh, weekend warrior alert.
Also: I joined fitocracy. Getting points and achievs for fitness, whoever came up with this is a fucking genius. Last edited by Senip; 01-17-2013 at 03:58 AM.. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
Been on fitocracy for awhile, but stopped recording lifts over the last few months other than occasionally. Should probably get on that again.

As I've said, haven't used it much lately. Should upload my workouts from this weekend.

Fuck young kids.
http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...08470430_n.jpg Before screams of steroids, apparently the only thing he's done is some oral shit, so that's his genetics. Works out at the gym, really wish I could get in a session with him but he always comes in at random times. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
Fuck
315x8 attempt on the squat today. Get to rep 8, feeling confident, weight is light, I get down really deep, push with everything I've got. The weight starts to rise. I know I have it. When suddenly I go full retard and pre emptively shift weight from my heels onto my toes anticipating racking it soon. I know I'm not supposed to do this but hey it has never been a problem before. Until I realize I'm 75% of the way up and my fate is sealed as I start to tip forward just under the rack bars. Yeah. That was an "I immediately regret this decision" moment as I fell face forward in the squat rack for the first time ever and dropped 315 onto the safety bar below making a massive noise causing everyone to turn and look. Also caught some skin on my arm and cut myself pretty bad. Ow.

Re: The Fitness Thread
I'm glad Marcus made the thread in hoping he is still dieting and sticking with it. This was a big reason for me to start watching my portions and get to the gym

Not playing with baby weights anymore! Time to start progressing slower on my squat too I think, since I've been pushing hard for 315 but I can't keep progressing at this rate.

Re: The Fitness Thread
There's a power lifting meet 2 hours away from here that I think I'll do. One coach is offering to let me use his inzer belt, which would help a LOT. Hoping I can use my knee wraps, shooting for totaling 1405 or something.
If I can get my deads and squats taught to me so that I'm getting MOAR POWAH I could probably do something like 1605. |
