LOL

You weigh like 50 pounds more than me 16 inch arms look pretty substantial on my frame. Especially since I started at 13 inches some 9 months ago. I get a lot of comments about them nowadays.

My weight will probably be capped out at a lean weight of like 180, I'd think. Hopefully I can get there in another year or two. I doubt I'd ever be able to get your size or lift #s.

Also, I consider 1.5 hr a marathon session. That practically leaves me fried. I like to keep it at an hour.

Losing weight recently because I've been working 8+ hour days at UPS (moving 100+ lb boxes, or 3-4 thousand tires an hour), running around the aisles, etc.

But it's okay, every time people see me, if it's more than a day they're like "Goddamn dude you're jacked and getting bigger!"

I told rubix that we both need motivation to lose weight since we've both been lagging it. I told him a bet would do the trick. 50 dollars to the one who drops the most in x months

he never replied rip

That's cause he's busy eating chicken wings and honey mustard sauce.

Use myfitnesspal.com or something if you want a nifty little thing to keep track of your macros. Will even let you scan barcodes on food so that you dont have to type shit up.

What I lack is competition. The first time I lost 50 pounds its because my cousin and I were working out together and we were pushing each other to one up. Everyone that I've worked out with since quits and that just kills my motivation.

I'm still watching what I eat and how much the actual exercise is what's not doing so well

The chicken finger comment was sarcastic BTW, I don't eat that way currently and haven't for a while.

I've definitely lost motivation though. Mostly because, again, I feel like I'm doing all the exercises incorrectly and just hurting myself.

Stop worrying about the exercise then and start concentrating on diet. Set scale goals rather than lift goals.

That is what I originally suggested anyway but hey you can do whatever the fuck you wanna do 8)

But it's pretty hard to hurt yourself with most exercises, especially machines. Why don't you just avoid squats and deadlifts and maybe even benchpress and just opt for simple machines and dumbbell exercises?

That's precisely what I'm doing (focusing on diet, but exercise being mostly machines + dumbbells) -- I'm down to 214 at the moment but still look like a garbage bag full o' cornflakes (as expected, though, because lol bf%). Weight was in the 220's about a month ago, then there were like two big drops.

Weight's been dropping, and strength (or lack thereof) has remained constant.

Sounds like you're doing it right then and getting results.

Why the lack of motivation? Yeah, you're going to look like cornflakes for awhile. You're in bodyfat hell and probably won't see any changes visually for a long time (though, clothing will start getting looser!) Eventually though, it will all pay off. By the time you get down to 180 or so you'll look like a new man.

I mean, you're down 22 pounds and things can only keep getting better. Seems like plenty of motivation to me.
