Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
The only problem I see with using my file for GT is mashing the initial 35nps wall thousands of times without missing. It is quite dense; GT whoring prefers a much less spiky file.

People have done VS Boss Battle, and reported how much pain they were in. There was someone who cheated out the system, and very appropriately, didn't really report any pain or anything after doing this. Besides, it's not like i'm actually pointing fingers at anyone and calling them BS, but to answer your questions, if someone were to play serious shit and thinking of you for 24 hours straight alternatingly, then yes I would call BS unless given evidence otherwise, whether it be like, streaming some of it, or observing replay images of early on in the day vs. later on in the day, where the PA falloff I would imagine would be incredibly severe. VS boss battle makes it out to about like 18 NPS ish? And if people report pain after that for a day of playing it, then yes the legitimacy of the player in question is definitely questionable. in any case, if i'm wrong, then ofc i'd retract my statement

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
I mashed VS Boss Battle for 8 hrs just for dendrite v2 and that already hurt quite a bit. doing something even denser requires even faster mashing/vibro and the additional increase in frequency probably results in an exponential (somewhat) increase in pain so it would definitely be hard to do it for long periods of time.

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
I see (also glad it wasn't taken the wrong way it was a legit question), I failed to remember that combo scoring is still the main benefactor in GT grinding.
Personally I think depending on the total note count takes into effect what mashing would generate from that song specifically, because (using RWOB as a reference) it is a tad bit simple to mash combo in those easier longer songs (I'm sure that MAX Forever would be also p good to grind GT on) and iirc even if you don't FC but also don't surpass SDM then the GT gained from a song like RWOB would be somewhere between -1m and -2m (given you generated at least 1800 combo before losing it). Someone like myself in terms of skill though can play through said song (23 NPS) and mash through those spikes/tough patterns and still keep the combo due to skill, and I agree that exhaustion would ultimately prove legitimacy (or by replays/streaming) however I don't think it would be as severe as mentioned. A player with a lot of stamina should be able to FC pretty consistently on said chart with the exception of exhausting taking place which results in a few misses from time to time. I've never done the GT grind or attempted to reach Daily GT status so feel free to explain and teach me how the specifics works to that because I could easily be wrong in some of my statements.

tldr mashing without breaks is really suffering and exhaustion catches up to you much faster than you think it will.

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
yeah you have like no idea how much pain goes into even just a quadmash for a day
also, GT is mainly influenced by your combo, so before vs boss battle was a thing, people would play EHHS up until the break for GT whoring. It's literally density of notes, and hoping you can combo as much of the early parts of the song if you wanted to use hi19's nps graph file thing as GT, it would suck because if you missed during the 35 nps wall, but played through then it's as if you waited the entire duration up until then to get to the nice 22 nps section or w/e it is |

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
I've finished Testament of Ian 1.5x with Rapta several days ago but I assume that isn't even close from GT whoring for multiple hours huh?
I've done Stamina Training with Icy as well for like two hours of marathon songs but that still I guess doesn't compare to the physical endurance to mash for hours on end

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
Proper GT whoring is best accomplished with relaxed wrists, engaging the entire arm to spread energy expenditure across more than one muscle. 24 hours is very different from even 2 or 3.
Nobody can wristjack the 17 taps per second on both hands it would take to combo and keep their wrists loose. Try flopping your hands idly at their natural rhythm, my guess is you will find a file around 160-190 bpm 16th jumptrilling to be natural, maybe slightly more if you push a tiny bit. But my file is 260 bpm. tl;dr - It's a marathon not a sprint; my file takes too much of a sprint.

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
Successfully meme'd another meme.
This is sorta my answer to files like Our Journey and Epilogue and Pandora except "that one hard part" takes up around a quarter of the file. Oops. Honestly probably barely makes the cut for the required difficulty.

man, haha... I'm so happy right now. Those of you who are EDM fans and like me, have wanted something hard but never really had the opportunity to find something that could pick in difficulty... one of my submissions will cater for all of you guys. This is not only easily in the 90s by old scale, but also the fastest extended sustained streaming in FFR so far (352 BPM).
Shoutouts to Kayla for getting the awesome Rainman permissions, and shoutouts to Rainman for being a badass motherfucker and breaking out super long sprints of 32nd note hi-hats! EDIT: is Eclipse (Solar)'s 32nd stream only 4 measures long? I can't remember, but if that's the case, this song has 4x the stream (broken into 4 pieces, each one of them being Eclipse's length). Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
Is it similar to Derby end polys? I think those were a bit longer (if you also want to include the second shorter poly section after the main one) in length.

Re: High FGO Special Batch [Sep 2015]
These are extended 32nd note streams at 176 BPM; four measures of them, plus a few external 1-2 measure streams with easier patterns (ala Eclipse).
