Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Wanderlust looks like another file of my nightmares. Ugh, every Renard song is hell for me.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Title of Torley's song should be Atlast (no space), not At Last. It's a really cool pun

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
All the [14][23][14] stuff in WANDERLUST makes me sad, I suck at that pattern.
Splinter was really cool. That and Wildstyle are in my top 5 favorite FFRmas releases. |

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
New World Disorder is an incredible file.
Really enjoyed it. Interesting rhythms, cool song, great difficulty curve, just all around great. There was a sound in the first part that sounded to me like it could have been minijacks, depending on the conversion that could have been cool. Just random ideas though, file was solid as-is. WANDERLUST seems way overrated for me, I got teens on it my first try which is not usually what I get on 88s rofl Fun file. Not a technical masterpiece or anything, but it's definitely replayable and generally enjoyable. Unlike many people, it seems, I am okay at [14][23][14] sandwiches at that speed but but the ending seems a little troll. I'll definitely enjoy playing it again and it will almost certainly be one of my first high FGO AAAs if it stays an 88. EDIT- damn Splinter is fun too. Really enjoyed the transitions from swing to straight 16ths and back again. The Street Fighter samples were stepped in a fun way, but tastefully in that they never led to stupid overlayering issues. Quite enjoyable all around.

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Nobody's really commented on Atlast and I think it's only fair someone comment on this file too, so here's my thoughts.
As far as 8's go, it's actually an interesting file, even if only for that one hand. That's not something you really see in easy files and I think it's cool that you weren't afraid to include that in such a low-level file. I don't really think it needed to be green, though. Just making it a hand was enough to accent that sound. Good easy file otherwise. Last edited by gameboy42690; 12-23-2014 at 11:46 PM.. |

Re: The Songs of FFRmas
Well I sure picked a great time to mindblock on All Your Base. It ended up taking me like 40 or so restarts just to unlock /a/.
