Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
Could someone please explain how the hell this even works? This sounds so wrong but yet apparently it works in Guitar Hero
0:12 seconds in 3:49 It sounds like he's playing an entirely different song in Lockene, the parts look dense and then his taps are at like 1/3 or 1/2 the speed of the actual thing ?_? |

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
Its actually just a really fast staircase of notes, Im not sure how to hit em but its just back and forth.
EDIT: I think holds down the one closest to the green then just rocks back and fort on the two beside it. (If that makes sense)

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
In lockene the taps from :07 to :12 sound really wrong and with no hands being shown, a good explanation is needed. He is certainly not physically "hitting" all of the notes in the runningman or that part.

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
Hmm, I believe he is holding green then holding red releasing red to press yellow then holding blue again? That sounds like the right amount of taps...

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
Also this is just a guess but the majority of taps are from strumming, and he is doing an insanely fast succesion of hammer-ons and pull-offs, Especially in Ressurection @ 3:49, where the "taps" (click of the strum bar) are only heard on the beat.

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
if you see a pattern like this
x .x ..x .x x .x ..x .x x .x ..x .x x then what you do is this: (green down) red down yellow down yellow up red up red down yellow down yellow up red up red down yellow down yellow up red up and since you can do all the motions of pressing and releasing whenever you want as long as you do the right number, the noises sound bunched up instead of contiguous like you'd expect from stepmania/ddr Hope That Answers Your Question

Re: Guitar Hero and "runningmen"
Hello, this is gamingfreak3 (the person responsible for the content you are questioning) and I would just like to clarify that is a technique we here in the Guitar Hero community tend to refer to as "Zig zag alt tapping."
Here are the method specifications: Parenthesis = right hand fretting Non-Parenthesis = left hand fretting 321(121)12321(121)12321(121)12321(121)12321(121)12321 At any rate, I appreciate the interest in the content I produce, even if is in skepticism towards its legitimacy xD I hope that this helps and such. |

If it's explained, it makes more sense Also, thanks for the tutorial vid, I have a better sense of what goes on behind these plays now (by the way, I *was* right that he wasn't physically hitting each note)
