I noticed in Flash Player 9 Standalone...that the Velocity engine keeps lagging unless I Maximize the window. Since then, I've gotten used to playing FFR near-full screen.

I have an issue with my standalone. I use flashplayer9, Velocity engine, I have windows 7, and I've gone through all of the steps over and over again. Clearing cache in IE, clearing cache in FF, deleting and re-downloading the flashplayer entirely, but none of it seems to fix my problem! (The problem being that the engine WON'T update) I'm stuck on the update, "~IWtB~"

Any help would be much appreciated.

edit: please forgive my ignorance. Everything is cleared up now.

Is the link to Flash 10 for Windows broken?

Notice how you don't see the arrows? I don't know if there's a technical term for those ones...But they go down with about every note that I have to hit and the only way I can still see them is if I stretch the screen vertically. Even then they still eventually completely disappear.

If you played *winning* it's supposed to do that. They just didn't set it up to where it stops after you play the song. Clear cache and don't play *winning* or that first song and you should be good.

I'm not sure what you may have going on, kmay. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the standalone, and clearing IE's cache?

Mine does the same thing except it "loads" the song at 100% and then instantly ends.

Any chance someone could update this for people who use windows 8?

as far as I know it's not possible to downgrade win8

Browser crashes and SA lag/freezes songs

Has nobody figured out how to get velocity to load songs on Mac? I'd really like to be able to play velocity standalone. I can't even read the arrows well on any of the others.

I'll second this request. Is there some other browser that one needs to be logged in to FFR on? I've even tried IE through WINE; no dice.
