Music on our profiles

Not sure if this has been suggested before but how about an area to enter a song link and so that music could play on our profiles like copy something like a FGJ! song link to copy the url where the song was from and have an area on edit your profiles that says Song and then be able to put the link in there so you could have music play

Suggested before, and I'd like it, but I don't remember why this was turned down last time. Maybe because it's another myspaceish feature.

That and copyright issues I think.

Just make it so others can't download it. I don't see how copyright laws would affect that.

Ehh, It does seem like just another Myspace feature.

And I don't think I would enjoy going on others profiles and hearing loud rap, or anything for that matter.

Tell me, how is putting music on your profile any different than uploading a simfile with music, in regards to copyright issues?

I think this should only be implemented if the person who views the other's profile clicks "play." There shouldn't be an autoplay function, and should be manually done only.

How about only song artists can have songs on their profiles, and multiple just so you can hear what they have. (Yes, just like myspace, but it would help out all the hobby steppers to find songs to step, no?)

Jason did have a Music Player on his page before, I don't know if they were going to add it to the site though.

Even if it did have autoplay, you just as easily press STOP.

I think it would be cool if you could only put a FFR song on your profile. Like a feature where you select your favorite song and it plays on your. Id love that

Or have it so another song can be put there. Some of us like other techno, dance, j-pop etc songs not on FFR of course.
