Velocity Engine Key Config Problems

I have keys allocated to DFKL but when I start a song, I can only press 1 arrow then the setup does not work anymore. Happened when I cleared cache.


I press the keys but no arrows are hit and no boos are hit.

More on it: changing layout does not matter. speed mod is 1.85. Any single press disrupts any other key usable. Esc for menu and F1 for options still works. Delete is set to end/go to results which does not work after the key press.

I have the same problem playing in browser. Do you use browser or standalone? if standalone, keep in mind you have to clear IE cache not your usual browser's. If you normally play in browser then....I guess try standalone?

edit: If trying to config keys later on after that does it just do numbers in succession from 1-9?

Cleared IE browser and I use the standalone.


Checking if it's an issue with logging into to standalone instead.

EDIT: ^ wondering if it has to deal with user-specifics.

I logged onto IE with remember me and solved the issue. So something's bugged about logging into the standalone.

That was actually my next question. Writing the massive bug-report FAQ (lol not posted) I ran across a ton of threads about issues that were solved by logging in on IE rather than standalone (like replay saving, token/skill not showing up, etc)
