Not gonna argue but i see what ur saying i guess.
I can't be 100% correct as I mainly play index, but I'm glad that not everyone is using spread because it's trendy. I don't doubt your elite playing ability haha, I bet there are one handed players that are better than spread players. Just speaking in general terms I guess.

I play 1 handed. Not the easiest thing but once you learn how to get past your own reaction boundaries and move your fingers as fast as you would spamming, the world is yours.

And no, I highly doubt many one-handers can catch up with a spread, but who really wants to? I enjoy rawking on 1 hand and I'll continue for a long time.

P.S.

I enjoy multiplayer, but I don't play with spread players too much, they're always trying to convince me why I should play spread and that "How good they are." I'd like to play other players with my enjoyment of burning songs out with 1 hand.

I use one hand cause I don't like using both of em to play. I'd switch to 2 so I could do spread (4 steps at once and more) but I can't change from my index lovin ways. Its tough to play with one hand against spread, that's for sure.

No kidding.

I've been playing one handed since I was around 13. I'm not going to change that up now just because it's easier. Easy way out is less enjoyable anyway. xP

As bad as it is, it's generally true from my experience. Makes me think that if I switched to spread one day, practiced for a month straight and AAA'd a really hard song, someone will just get a SDP and my score won't matter anymore. I rather stick to my index style, as I play for fun, not for rank.

I used to play one handed. If I come up against easy songs I find boring on spread, I switch. For some reason I get more fun out of playing one handed than with spread. Maybe that's just me.

Maybe playing one handed is a sort a rush, like its tough but challenging. Plus, being able to hit all those arrows with one hand...doesn't it make u feel like you're an expert at the game? I know it makes me feel like a ddr cyborg when I'm tappin keys so fast with 1 hand alone.

Sounds stupid, I know. But I like it.

Been playing one-handed for about 6 years now. Arrow keys, three fingers.

Not very good. Oneo f the best things I can do is combo through Stalled Out and Sushi Bars.

I dunno what all this AAA and AA stuff you kids are talking about is.

EDIT: Looked at join date, guess it's been 7 years or so since I've been playing.

EDITEDIT: Also Stalled Out and Sushi Bars doesn't seem to exist anymore...

AAA is when you hit everything "Perfect".
AA is mostly used in Stepmania (as far I know it doesn't exist on FFR) when you play a VERY good game.
A FC (if you don't know that too ) is a Full Combo when you finish a game without "Missing" one arrow

I think two handed play allows you to do a lot more, and get better.
If your amazing with one hand, you'll be even better with two supposedly.
I used to use 1 hand on the arrow keys, and now I use 2 hands on the arrow keys

As for myself, I used to play with one hand back in 2007-2008, then switched to spread after I hit a wall like everyone else did.

I've alwyas played one handed. Playing with two hands is too complicated for me heh, I get messed up on arrows. One handed is cool though.

One handing is nice. Skill drops fast if you stop playing though.

Why did I never see this thread? `.`
