Re: Red Bull Stratos
It's a GO. Lifted off at 10:30am Central Time. It will take about 2 hours till he leaves the capsule.
I can't do this. I went up Mount Blanc in France by cable car this past August, but I can't do this. Mount Blanc is 15,000 feet high. Last edited by DotKritic; 10-14-2012 at 10:40 AM.. |

Sick.
This'll give me enough time to go grab some breakfast before he jumps.

I really want to go get some mexican food for breakfast but I can't tear myself away from this. Even though it's not that interesting right now lol.

I feel the same way. I'm like nothing is going on I should get a few things done, but must watch anyway.

Re: Red Bull Stratos
Damn, that shade of blue at 50K feet. The only thing more amazing is when you're at 70-80,000 feet and you can see the entire atmosphere below you, transitioning from blue to black. Definitely a historic moment - go Felix!

Re: Red Bull Stratos
I like that they display the oxygen level, pressure, and temperature.
