UK FFR Players
Hey! I kinda wanted to make this thread as I was curious about the number of UK FFR players on this site. I've been a member on this site for 2 and a half years now and I'd say whilst I'm not a 'regular' I do play the game and post in the forums a good amount. I've also made some good friends on this site and have been involved in a few teams and tournaments on FFR. I've made a lot of friends and have been wanting to meet up with people from FFR but a lot of the people I've met on here are from America and Canada and this coupled with my uni student life kinda prevents me from meeting up with a lot of people that I'd like to. It's because of this that I kinda wanted to make this thread, I was curious as to how many FFR players there are from the UK like myself and I was also wondering if there was any chance that a meet-up or something would be possible? I've noticed a lot of meet-ups on here whether it be casual FFR meet-ups between members or whether it be various members going to conventions (e.g. Anime North etc.) but they all take place in America. I've been interested in meeting up with people from the site which is the reason why I'm making this thread really. If there's anyone who lives in the UK or is coming to the UK soon, feel free to post replies. It'd be cool to plan something perhaps??

Re: UK FFR Players
While I am not based in the UK, I know there's a few people who lurk around the site who are. The profile search has a feature where you can find people who have told the world on their profile that they are from the UK with the following link:
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...&submit=Browse I'm sure they'll eventually find this thread and give a shout. But for those who don't that link should help you find them. ##

yeah i would be down for a uk meetup. there's plenty of events around, LFCC and MCM as two examples, but i'd also consider going to just a regular meet. |

If you are searching profiles by location, there are separate locations for United Kingdom and Great Britain.

Re: UK FFR Players
uk players on ffr almost don't exist. i tried speculating on why this is the case in my ask me anything thread. quite possibly because a lot of ffr players had ddr as a previous inspiration, as ddr was a huge thing 10-15 years ago in the states and japan, while in contrast i've only ever seen 3 ddr machines in my entire life in england and all of them are pathetic ddr euromix 2 machines with like an 80% response rate so you can't get better than 20% misses. but what do i know.
i only stumbled across this site while idly browsing another internet forum i visit which yoshL and inDheart frequented and both put their ffr stats in their signature. at that time i'd never heard of ddr.

Re: UK FFR Players
There are some of us. Most players I've met irl focus more on ddr/pump/itg etc. I used to meet up with a few people in Birmingham back in 2005/6 but when to uni in 2006 so rarely saw them after that. Best chance is expos.

I'm from Scotland.
...that's all I have to add to this. I did DDR with someone at DeeCon this year from the FFR forums and I can't remember his name but he tanked me with his first Max300 FC.
