I liked D5's song. Too bad I didn't join, I would've had a chance but the past two tournies I was eliminated by an awkward file & patterns that would've gotten me to the next round but lolcomboscoring >.<

Finally got the AAA for D3, it's been bugging me so fucking much. I'm only the second AAA too, after like three days. D3 looks like it's really suffering from this chart.
And I'm also in love with D4's song, and currently have a 6-0-0-0. Might go for the AAA for shits and giggles

Yeah, this chart is kicking my ass haha. Hopefully I get a better score to edge away from that elimination line.

don't overplay it and take lots of breaks
that's how i usually score on tournament songs

Yeah that's true for sure. I've only played it... 48 times (better than some! ) and my best is 9-0-0-2 I'm going to play a bunch of other songs and see if I can get used to some of the odd patterns.

The first like 70 I couldn't beat 2-0-0-0
Then I went and played makiba and the AAA just came out of nowhere

This kind of thing always helps me. I now make it a point to play some crazy 80+ file I can't handle like Unicron Barbeque or ELEVEN 11 and then when I go back to an easier file I can usually AAA on the first try.

Or I'll play Death Piano on Tornado and Mirror.

Velocity Engine still lagging.

It's unfortunate, but it looks like if that engine doesn't start working again, it'll be elimination in Round 3 in yet another official, for the same reason both times.


Velo, I hope you figure something out this time around ;-;

There's nothing Velocity can do, honestly. It's not a problem with the engine, it's a problem with something linked to it. Last year, the lag started at round 3 and completely disappeared at the start of round 4. For the mean time, you'll have to just trudge your way through on a different engine. =/

I'm currently using FFRAnotherWay on Flash 8. I get random misses from time to time (usually on my most promising plays. lol), but other than that it's good.

I'm using the velocity engine and it lags bad can't even get a good FC on the song in D3 and that song packs a punch for a skill level 52
