get a new one

as for other stuff it's hard for people to help you optimize if you don't give a more detailed description of your general play style and limits

play spread
use a speed mod of 1.50x or above
constantly play songs out of your comfort zone
set goals for yourself
play spread (well aware that i've already mentioned this)
also, give it time

as for your keyboard, clearly your solution is to go out an invest in a not-so-****ty keyboard (-:

hope this helps

Try to AAA songs. Like go from Difficulty 1 songs to whatever. That will at least tell you what you need to practice on.

To me this is the most important one. Actually try as hard as you can to FC those FMOs and FGOs even when you really don't have a shot (don't mash). Playing SM on a high judgement also helps out PA a lot.

1x, screen cut, use left, down, 8 and 6 on number pad, turn num lock off (doesn't effect playing style, I just don't like seeing the light on).

well first off. play stepmania. that way if your a masher you wont be able to pass songs like that. go download the dark chancellors pack and beat all the songs. youll be good then xD. really though just play songs you cant beat (on sm) until you can. and, watch some thoar on youtube
