HOW TO ADD SONGS IN STEPMANIA

1) install stepmania
2) open stepmania.. you should see a folder called songs
3) click that folder there will be a white space on the right side of explorer.
4) right click and select new. Choose folder
5) name that folder whatever you like (mine is named 87x because he gave me my first 20 songs)
6) when you download sim files, put the folder that the song is in, into the newly created folder.
7) open stepmania and everything should be alright.

what the hell, jello is helping a nUb...anyways that should help you out enough...sm is at stepmania.com, and for simfiles you can get some of the ones here and some at ddruk i believe

well how the hell do you extract the folder out of the zip folder? Everytime I try it says the zip is corrupted. Do I just put the zip into the folder or what?

You use winzip...and be sure you are downloading the song with IE (if you are getting the songs from the FFr Simfile DB)

I think that you can, but making a stepfile with a new song can be confusing. Trust me, I tried it once/

I know this post is kindof old but I was wondering if the songs that I put into StepMania would show up on the internet version of FFR?

No, FFR and stepmania are two different games, connected by nothing but their genre.
