Can it be?
Volkov in Halo! I don't know for sure, though. It's hard to play CTF and talk at the same time when you are getting your ass kicked.

We talked for a bit, it was a confusing conversation, so I'm not 100% sure as to whether or not that was Josh.

The problem with halo is that to play it smoothly you need to turn settings down on a lesser machine, and it ends up looking like shit, like in your screenshot.

I can run it at higher quality smoothly, but for the ridding of occasional lag spikes, I opt for sacrificing it.
The screenshot looks like shit because the picture's quality was compromised to make it a smaller file. My Halo settings are nearly the highest quality. I have a very good machine. |

Halo for computer is terrible. No matter what you do, multiplayer will always be laggy. ALWAYS. I've tried it online, on a wireless LAN and with an Ethernet, and it is always laggy to the point where you have to snipe AHEAD of the person to hit them, and pistol sniping is damn near impossible. If you're going to get Halo, get it for the box. If you don't have a box, don't get it at all, it's the most overrated game on the market anyway.

No, man, I've tried it on several comps...I've done it online on an Athlon 64 with a GeForce 5600, a P4 2.66 with a 9700 XT, and a P4 2.4 with a GeForce 5600. I've tried tweaking the setttings, turning the quality to the very lowest, it just simply is laggy.
Seriously, what I want to know is why it took a guy over at Bungie two years to port this. No graphical improvements, no real gameplay additions, bugs, huge lag, and the only thing they really have to show for it is a new weapon and Banshees in Blood Gulch. I have never seen such a bad port that took so long to make. |

Our internet café's Halo LAN games are INCREDIBLE smooth and fun as hell.
At my house, everything runs very nicely, as well. I like Halo for PC a lot. |

WOW YOU CAN ONLY HOLD 2 GUNS!#!$#! REALISTIC!# LETS BUY IT AND DEVOTE OUR LIVES TO IT K? Im not sure if I already said this, but I was watching a video of a live playing session of Halo 2 off IGN and when the guy pulled out double machine guns, the whole crowd gasped like it was some technological advancement that graced them with the presence of two machine guns that can be seen as early as Goldeneye 007 for N64. I just don't get it...Well now that I have completly contradicted myself from the first sentence of this post...bye. |

Only fun lag in the game is the one in the flying warthogs mods.
