Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
Yea I was extremely limited on sample stock but I thought that castle would fly if I try to make it dimmer. Overall planning was pretty much shit cause I just jumped right in to painting details and throwing in stuff. But I am pretty satisfied with it being the second try. (The first one made me cry) .

Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
The fine details in that recent one is eye catchy. Especially the linear perspective that grabs your attention first-hand. Great stuff in here!

Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
deliver. This is more like a personal brush test than anything. First time Ive ever made a brush of my own on photoshop hahaha I think i might get addicted to brush making lolz. Addition, making it more green. The potion store. ...green + industrial just dont run well with me lol..

Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
Your scale is either really off, or really epic in that last one. That's the largest potion shop ever, it's like 40 stories tall...or your people are tiny xD Still looks very pleasing to the eye. These green palettes are working wonders.

FFR:RPG
Jokes aside, considering the large artistic talent and I know of a few capable programmers around here -- why don't you attempt to form a small group and try a sort of indie game... (I'm assuming most of you are very busy though and a game is a massive undertaking) |

Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
Not sure how this takes half an hour with all the coloring/shading along with the outlines.
Do you think you could make a video demonstration, maybe sped up to show what actually goes on behind those 30 minutes? |

Re: ITT: spitfire post painting
Layering plays a big role. You cannot do something like that from top to bottom, left to right, in one fellow swoop. Rather from back to front and all around, starting with shapes that are simple or strokes, planning it out and building up those simple shapes.
