I'm unbelievably excited for this.

I donated the day after the kickstarter came out.

Glad to see it at almost 1.5 million!

I consider Banjo Kazooie (Tooie, especially) to be one of my favorite games of all time. I replayed it only a few weeks ago and couldn't believe how much fun I was having even after all of these years. I've beaten it a number of times, and that style of game just never gets old for me.

Can't wait to see what they do with this.

I also recently replayed Banjo-Kazooie in honor of this, heh.

When I get in another mood, I'll do DK64 and then Banjo-Tooie.

DK64 brings back stupid old memories; like 14-15 year old memories.

Getting every gold banana as well as any of the medals, colored bananas, blueprints, TT medals, coins, etc is so fun; especially being older and being able to locate such compared to the 4-5 year old brain I had.

Surprised this got so much hype and support. I find platformers in general pretty simple.

They unveiled a side character that's going to act like Bottles/Jam-Jars in terms of learning abilities.

Trowzer in da houze.

I think it's fair to say that there's going to be orchestrated music now in the game.

I've never really played it myself, from what little I played though, definitely keep an open mind to the mechanics the game gives you.

It's essentially an adventure... but with vehicles. There's still collectables to get (few), but instead of jumping and doing moves to get to places, you're relying on your vehicle to explore areas.

You'll start to get parts too as the game progresses, parts = making your vehicle better. The farther you go, the more parts you get, the better they get as well.

All in all, I think it still has that progressive build-up in terms of feeling like you're getting more powerful like the previous games, but it's just with vehicles instead.

I have to sit down and really play the game to give an good honest review, but from what I've seen and what little I played, it's not as bad people make it out to be. I think the outcry was just because the very core of what made Banjo-Kazooie well known and well done was stripped out of the game and changed the focus on not the characters and progression of characters, but solely on the vehicles and building them.

It's worth checking out, but if you are a hardcore back in the day B&K player then you might get let down (because the game style takes a complete twist from the B&K series at that time).

Certain challenges to get enough (I forget what it's called but call it currency) currency to unlock the next areas are tough but still fun.

i asked for it for christmas one year because i just saw banjo-kazooie and got excited. it was terrible in every way besides visually. so boring, controls sucked, i stopped playing it fairly quickly, major disappointment to me

DK64 was my fav game of all time so hopefully this yooka-laylee can bring back some Rare fun factor
