The runaway growth of FFR threads has led me to believe we've reached the forum meme singularity. I don't know what this means for humanity, but it will never be the same.

We traitorous Americans celebrate by getting drunk and firing off fireworks made by Chinese child labor. And BBQs.

Nah, good ol' American BBQ is mainly just burgers and brats. Budweiser if often cited as the "Most American" beer, but it is now also owned by a foreign parent company. It's pretty emblematic of America.

I am going to trivia later to talk to people I've mostly never met before and fail to answer questions about my own nation and feel bad about it

I feel like I should clarify my American BBQ comment -

July 4th BBQs are of the "Backyard BBQ" variety, and mainly burgers and brats.

Southern BBQ has pulled pork and the like, and is freakin amazing.

Oof, well at least you'll be saying hello to family members, eh?

We just had a dinner with just one of my uncles coming over to spend some time. It was a nice surprise actually since we didn't plan on anyone coming over.
