Both files done... Judges will be getting my drop file again. What is it? like 7-9 submits already? (Edit: nvm... Ive only submitted 4 times.. this batch is my5th.) There isn't a lot of work done on it except the addition of a very controversial drum stick sounds in the middle part and probably a better PR of the original sticks that you can hear in that middle section. Still a good file and Im sure this time it will get a + or better, unless jim is nitpicking ^^ (I know why. You said you wanted it to be perfect.)

Also finished a pretty upbeat song and might have to debate on the triplets because its obveious it should be there since its like 3 notes from one instruments, but IM sure the song is a VC..(because of the rule of only triplets and quads being FMO+ hence why Im debating) Anyways, the judges will know what Im talking about. Should be a good file since I took a bit on it getting the PR on it correct and mirroring everything. Fun file to and will send soon

Darn, 3.5 and ? again.
Quote:
. m35 not 24ths, 32nds, same mistake near the end too
. m36 echo patterns should be 16ths
. m37+ missed tons of 32nds like the ones you stepped, listen to the synth closely
. Ending offsync
. Ending also boring before the blue notes at the end
. PR generally shoddy, make it not shoddy, make it good
Hmm, lol. The first two are quick fixes. I know I missed a lot of 32nds m.37+, I just thought there'd be waaaaaay too many rolls if I did step them. I guess I should anyway. Maybe I should raise the BPM just a bit, that'd solve the ending problem. The last two are going to be time-consuming to fix. PR was my main focus restepping this song, but I guess I have to improve it more.

Oh well.

Maybe I should move on to another song and come back to this one later. :P

Yep, 24ths.

. Check some of the double placement to vocals (lack of in some of the chorus really)
Oh, whoops, just noticed I missed a jump on "My" at a lyric in every repeat of the chorus... And on most parts without the chorus, I had three layers: the bass/guitar, lyrics, and that hit/drum thing every few fourths. The only note without the bass is the second fourth of a measure, which a hit/drum is at, so that's only a jump if there's also a lyric there... and I just noticed some places where it should have been a jump.. Yeah, fixed those instances I found. Will be sending the fix in. Thank you for noting that.

The Lion's Dance (Silvuh) [+.]
. Missed violin that you were stepping throughout
. Why not step that triangle or whatever it is, cymbal, m41 or so
I think that violin thing is where a lot of those jacks come from that I step every few measures at the end... I didn't add them to some of the measures because I thought it interfered too much with the 48th thing... (Two instances of the 48th thing, measures 20 and 45, and then measure 24) But, well, I'll put them in for consistency. And I added those 8ths to the cymbal thing in measure 40. Also in the last measure, I noticed some unstepped drum beats that were stepped in measure 24, so I added those, too. Sending in that.
And as for Sly, I thought the layering would be different enough, but, mm, guess not. And I'm not sure exactly how to step it at another difficulty.. Don't think it could be FMO (with not enough jacks or +16th rhythms), and I'd hurt inside if I had to make it easier by ignoring a lot of fun stuff...

Also, I was wondering... Is 10/12 files queued from the last four batches good enough for allowing a fourth new-file submission?

P.S. Also, really looking forward to Patashu's files. Nice 5/5, by the way. I tried stepping sirius but failed miserably, and now there's behanjc's file to wait to play..

I don't talk about FFR or anything that has to do with it anywhere outside of FFR

Drum Set - worst mp3 ever, not even audible. ger a better mp3 first.

Rock^3 - If you step it like that, just it's not a good song choice/stepping style.

RATO - just accepted for meeting the demand for non-bs hard file. Don't take that it's an ideal style or something.

Alright, thanks, and if you noticed, I did e-mail you a fixed version, but you said it didn't make it in time, so oh well, next time, and blu knew about the music thing, but couldn't understand why I stepped it that way without hearing the bass, snare, and symbols all at once, but it's cool, I'll send it again with a few changes

PATASHU!! DO NOT PLAY THE FILE I SENT YOU! I found the sync error! The beat offset was off by like, .5, or something, anywho, it's synced now and sounds MUCH better, I wish I could just resend now to the judges and have them do it quickly with better audio and stuff instead of waiting through an entire batch because my audio file I sent made it a day late, also, Patashu, sending you the better file now

Offset errors don't matter in terms of judging, and VERY likely was not the sync error(s) the judges referred to.

Offsets for different people vary, and is easy for the judges to change if they feel necessary.

Sync errors usually refer to wrong BPM or wrong notes/rhythms

However, I am speaking generally, and since the judges didn't even play the file, I could be wrong.
