How usual are tournaments (non-official too)

Usually another official is run a year later. If you keep checking back and forth, some people run their own non official tournaments too. You can see the tournaments in progress on the main page, top left.

There's usually at least one tournament, official or user-run, going on at a time. Officials happen approximately once a year, during the summer (though there was no official held last year.)

There once was a time where user run tournaments were a huge thing, now a days not so much. They pop up periodically. I'm hoping to increase the activity of those with the plan I have to allow people to obtain official backing for their tournaments (basically be able to add tokens to the prize list and obtain credits from the event staff). I'm still working out all the details on that though.

I was trying to do the official tournaments twice a year, but unfortunately it's just too much to be able to do with all new content. Though I'm considering maybe doing a winter one that is only content in game and a shorter run. So not a full blown official, but something smaller scale still run by staff.

I may also toss up a user tournament of my own once the official is all done and I finish up a few other things I need to do. Just keep an eye out on that side bar for registering tournaments.
