from what I understand, the rails that were laid in order to achieve Manifest Destiny are a little bit subpar for trains that go ZOOM

Also today I ate raw pufferfish semen (shirako sushi) at a kaiseki meal in Kurume and damn it was incredibly good. Texture like foie gras and a very light taste of whitefish, delicious.

Definitely up there with the fried scorpion and the crocodile skin in terms of weirdest things I've eaten and enjoyed.

It was to the best of my understanding. Recently got a new season as well (the first season was 2006, which might explain why it got lost in the shuffle for people with passing knowledge of anime because 2006 and 2007 had a buuuuuuuuunch of quality shows in them)
