Tried to beat even one of my old records...

Played a little Stepmania again.
I'm getting back into form but I still can't really touch most of my old record scores.

I tried tonight to break even one of my old records.
Let's get the most embarrassing attempts out of the way first:

Apparently I used to be able to hit those trills.
This was a harsh reality check rofl

I could barely read the streams when I tried tonight... no chance.

I didn't even full combo it lmfao
Also Jesus Christ my old MA was good on this file. I feel like I'll never touch this score again 0_o

Much less embarrassing than before. Now we're getting somewhere.
My old record is not that strong, but the jacks kept ruining my tries tonight. I used to be better at vibrating on just 4 while 3 and my left hand did their own thing. Gotta practice that.

Eyyy at least I can still full combo this on command. Getting even closer.

I practice vibrating when I'm bored in class or nervous.
It's basically my nervous tic that actually has a use thanks to StEpMan

As for speed, I can read arrows so much faster than I can play them, like I know what I want my fingers to do, but they just don't do it anymore. So annoying.

Failed it once then passed relatively convincingly, I can only give this 2 real attempts before my arms feel like jelly.

I have a while until I'm as good as I used to be with vibrating as well, it seems.

I remember I was good enough that I could actually trill the trills in the slow part and even kinda legitly do the 32nd split jumptrills too.

FFR scoredump feat. victory over bmah

I got this during warmup and knew that tonight was good.

Dropped it in the solo.
Still pretty happy though, this file is so hard to PA and it beat my old score by like 20.
Also file is fun as fuck, Scintill's a god.



Damn that one screwup where I got the average...
Ugh I could totally get sub-5 clean on this, I know it.

Decent start, most of the shit was from screwing up the first 32nd burst, but I did the second one okay so I kept going...
Then I AAA'd the runningman part 0_o
2 boos at the end were legit lag, I panic mashed out of fear of losing my combo.

I got literally half of them in the intro.
If I had known I would do so good on the breakcore parts I would have taken getting a clean start more seriously rofl

I never seem to do well in both first and last half of this file on the same run.
This time I screwed up the last half... I'll get it someday.

Legit no-mashing FC of this file, and with decent PA too.

Posting more because I don't want to shit up the FFR scores thread and this is a nice way to track my personal progress.

Felt like a solid run.
The first transition I screwed up on (where I got the boos) is incredibly hard, I don't think I came close to doing it right in any of my runs.

Whoa. Nailed the runningmen, trills, streams, and basically all the hard parts... then got goods in the dumbest places right after out of excitement.
Bit of a heartbreaking replay, I would have loved to have AAA'd this haha

The repeating patterns in this are harder than they seem, first two goods were on that long set of 3-arrow roll streams.
