I enjoy creative aspects far more than competitive aspects of most games I play. I honestly think upper d5 is the best I would want to be at this game, as weird as that sounds. The time commitment to reward ratio isn't there. I don't think I could push myself to practice because it wouldn't be enjoyable for me to improve just for the sake of improving at something as "insignificant" in the grand scheme of things as Stepmania.
I'm just naturally drawn to making content instead of consuming it.

Composing music. Not that great at it, but I have fun. Related to that, I've played piano for 18 years and I improvise all the time just for fun.
Also I love game design. Literally every game that I find myself enjoying the most is because it has a level editor (Stepmania, for example) or because it's an inherently creative game (such as Roller Coaster Tycoon)
I used to paint a bit but I've kinda stopped doing that

I used to. For English classes in middle and high school I used to always wind up writing way too much for the creative assignments. When I get started on a story I just kinda keep going.
Overall I enjoy writing and people have told me that I'm not bad at it.
Honestly I should write more, haha.

Dude if you can get a copy of that file and send it to me I'd love you forever. I lost all my old files when the FFR simfile database went down and my old HD crashed, so no I don't have it anymore myself

Well TBH I think I have it on my external backup but pulling that out of storage is a bitch and a half. But hell, if you need it too I'll make it a point to take a look here in a bit. Would have been sooooooo much easier if you had though rofl
