Turbo XVIII - Time Travel Turbo (Redux) - Postgame
Setup was Time Travel Turbo (Redux)
=== 11 Players 1 [Shorted] Timecop OR 1 Time Traveler 1 Time Tinkerer OR 1 Phase Shifter 1 One Shot Assassin OR Paradoxer 6 Vanilla Town === 1 Almost-One Shot Scrambler OR 1 Almost-One Shot Overloader 1 Mastermind OR 1 Information Broker ============== ======= Town Wins! PLAYER LIST 1. inDheart - Vanilla Town, Survived to win! 2. Hakulyte - Time Traveler, Killed N2 3. DaBackpack - Vanilla Town, Survived to win! 4. ShadoWolfe - Vanilla Town, Killed N1 5. XelNya - One Shot Assassin, Survived to win! 6. Wayward Vagabond - Time Tinkerer, Survived to win! 7. Charu - Vanilla Town, Lynched D1 8. Blindreper1179 - Vanilla Town, Survived to win! 9. the sun fan - Mastermind , Lynched D2 10. Tokzic - Almost-One Shot Overloader , Conceded and lost 11. DarkManticoreX2 - Vanilla Town, Survived to win! ======= Night Actions: N1: Sunfan kills shado Tokzic gives manti +.1 vote Sunfan targets blind with mastermind ability, and chooses the role information broker WV guards Hakulyte Hakulyte watches ShadoWolfe in the Present. N2: Tokzic kills Hakulyte WV guards Xelnya Hakulyte watches Xelnya in the Present ======= Host Comments: A very strange game. Town has a very strong d1 and almost puts a kebab in Tokzic. But a last minute attack by Sunfan targeting Charu convinces DaBackpack to move from Tokzic to Charu. A somewhat tough break for poor Charu, as he gets dropped in a box with Tokzic and dies for it. During the night, Sunfan executes the kill which suprised me because i thought he would want to lay low until his power activated. He had his reasons im sure but it ends up costing him his life in a strange twist. Haku mistakes his watching power for tracking, and chooses to watch Shado (when he actually wanted to track him, which is impossible). I wake up the next day groggy and sleep deprived and give him the tracking results for shado instead of the watch results by mistake. This doesnt end up mattering (as Shado was VT) but you can pinpoint the moment i fix my mistake because thats when Haku goes hard against Sunfan in the thread. Sunfan really doesnt have much options at this point and goes for the fakeclaim, but (understandably) he wasn't prepared for it and gets outed when he misquotes the target list from the previous day. Night 2 WV cant exactly do much to help haku out due to his guarding last night so he goes for the next best thing and guards Xelnya. Xelnya is on the fence about shooting but sends his shot too late so i dont accept it. Tokzic goes for the obvious Haku kill. Haku watches Xelnya because he doesnt trust himself to place the time travel vote correctly. Day 2 was somewhat slow. Sunfan bailing out Tokzic the previous day was a ticking time bomb that was waiting to explode the second someone went back to do wagon analysis, but even without it town was doing a good job building a circle and acting towny. DaBackpack finally finds the critical bit of info and Tokzic sees the writing on the wall. He concedes. ======= MVP DaBackpack & Hakulyte DaBackpack: Good reads, was on the verge of unravelling the game before the scum team conceded. Hakulyte: Game changing (accidental) watch, lots of good pressure and work done ======= Deadchat - https://discord.gg/KMF7Hdf Wolfchat - https://discord.gg/gCYsFmp

Re: Turbo XVIII - Time Travel Turbo (Redux) - Postgame
MVP probably goes to DaBackpack. His switch onto Charu wasn't great but his reads were solid and he found the bit of info that would've put the game away had it gone on (Sunfan making Charu wagon to save Tokzic). There were many solid players this game to be fair so i might have to think about this one.

Re: Turbo XVIII - Time Travel Turbo (Redux) - Postgame
It was originally going to be 10 players but the PR ratio was not great so i added another player. If i ever run it again ill fix the power role balance and ratios for sure

Re: Turbo XVIII - Time Travel Turbo (Redux) - Postgame
some combination of this (maybe 8-2 if you don't want the assassin to mess with lynch numbers), time traveler nerf, etc
assassin OR paradoxer as they're written can lead to some voting shenanigans to lynch between two claims, apparently wolf success seems also a bit dependent on what they roll because the blocker and broker "feel" stronger than their counterparts |

Re: Turbo XVIII - Time Travel Turbo (Redux) - Postgame
after thinking more i think dabackpack and haku should share mvp. Haku did a lot of work after his big awkward post and even if the watch was accidental it was still pivotal

Dude, that turbo is still GOAT, I don't even care. It's so good, and the blunder probably made it super special.

For your punishment, you must listen to Knuckles Theme from both SA1 and SA2 at the same time with 5 other instances each in a tab.
