Nitrx is low VC, please change it. I know it's not that hard, but I can't AAA it consistently while I have never failed to AAA Carousel Paradise or Dot Death, and those are VC's (easiest), so Nitrx should be a 68-69 IMO

FOTBB and Silence was actually 13

new standard now
DP = highest 12 (95)
RATO = lowest 13 (96)

imo it's better than another idea of making both 13

I would have to agree with the majority that Nitrx is a low VC. First of all the jacks are quite tough to pa and later on the jumps w/ 64ths are a pain to read and PA.

Glad to see my file has sparked some discussion, haha. So Nitrx has been out for a while now, and judging by the AAAs : players ratio, I guess it would fit as a low VC, though I'm not too sure. I don't find it hard at all (then again, it's my highest non-rank 1 song on my levelrank), but that's just me ?_?.

The jacks IIRC are around 138 BPM if they were 16ths, so they're not too terrible (though that 64th split into the jack triplet is >_>). Also, the 64th splits go to the "vocals"/screaming noise. All 64th notes can be hit as jumps...maybe it would be helpful to run through the file a couple times just focusing on the vocal noises in the JS section?

Hmmm, in retrospect, I guess I shoulda made them 192nds.

EDIT: WOW AAAs : players ratio is a pretty dumb ****ing statistic to base any decision off of. Ownt in my face.

It really didn't feel that tough to me... it felt similar to Mario Minor in terms of difficulty... maybe even easier.

Better why? At the moment, DP's level stats are far worse than that of any other FGO, yet comparable to RATO. Personally, I think it fits perfectly well as the easiest of the 13s.

ABCDeath is not a 10. The awkward 12/24ths make it probably a 9, but the length is really why I'm having a hard time believing it's a 10.

because I don't want to whore 13.
as a result, the range of FGO might get a bit wider though.

ABCDEath is easy to me. Without that one slightly difficult section, the simfile would be an 8. If that small part has to boost the difficulty of the file, it should be a 9 at most. 10 is too much.

Concerning the Nitrix discussion, I've played it, and to put my two cents in (if I already have, sorry, I can't remember), I think it's a Challenging. Hate to sound like an elitist pro or whatever, but the jacks just really aren't that hard.

Also, Death Piano... FGO? You do realize that the hardest FGO Tier Req is technically Revolutionary Etude, with 20 or fewer. Death Piano is 300 or fewer. Uhhhh, if it's that much harder, is it really okay to classify it on the same level as the stepfile right below its difficulty in the Tier Point list? Or to even call it an FGO when people can't even pass it without practically quadding the whole thing? I mean, there are people that are actually good enough to AAA most of the FGOs. Almost all of them, in fact. There is nobody good enough to get even double digit good on DP and we're calling it FGO? FGO's always been at least doable, guys.

I'm split half and half with you, Zyb. I find the whole of Nitrx to just be really complicated and difficult to do, and PA. The 64th gallops, and even though you can just do them as a jump, throw me off a bunch and I don't really have anything better than 3 misses on it, which is pretty damn awful.

On the other hand, DP should not be an FGO. It's definitely a 13. I mean, I just went through it the other day for the first time, and I mean the whole way through for the first time. My initial thought was just "RATO is a hell of a lot easier to FC than this is..." I can't see DP being placed with the other FGO's. You have a good point, FGO's are always do-able. If something is unable to be AAA'd, or FC'd without just quadding your keyboard 90% of the time, it should be an FGO.

Honestly Nitrix is one of those songs where if it becomes VC then it's not like I feel a great injustice has been served. That's like if Vertex BETA were to be a VC oh wait
