Probably during the Renaissance/Enlightenment period. A lot of discoveries were made during this time frame. The Roaring 20s isn't a bad second though.

I actually think I'm born in the perfect era right now. Cell phones, internet, diversity (for the most part anyway), access to unlimited knowledge...life is good man.

BUT it would be cool to live in Rome during the Caesar empire. Or in 500-300BC Greece so I could chill with Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. Those dudes were cool.

My only hope is that we solve some seriously awesome scientific mysteries during this lifetime. I'm going to be sorely disappointed if I die knowing not much more than I know now.
