A Map of Every Chris Hadfield Photo From the ISS.

So one of the companies I used to work for is awesome and constructed a map out of the coordinates that every single photo Chris Hadfield took while he was commander of the ISS. Esri makes mapping software using ArcGIS.

This means you can now see exactly where each photo was taken from space. Simply click on the ISS icon to see the picture that was taken above those specific coordinates. Thought this would be a cool thing to share.

This is actually really awesome. However, more people should see this and actually use it. Oh well, more for me

We were going to try and get him to take pics of my hometown but unfortunately his orbiting path would have made it difficult to get anything worthwhile. This is cool!

Yeah I saw that image, North Bay would be somewhere underneath the clouds in the bottom right. I can't even make out Lake Nipissing either which is about the size of the smaller lake beneath Georgian Bay (Lake Simcoe).
