FFR PYP: POST YOUR PLANTS (Gardening thread)
Has anyone else been doing a garden this year? If so, what have you been growing?
Get ready for a lot of plant pictures: |

I think green onion is by far the most satisfying thing to grow. You get good flavour from fresh, they're easy as weeds, and you can actually use your harvest many times rather than for just one salad
Hot peppers too I guess, would recommend scotch bonnets for something different

Re: FFR PYP: POST YOUR PLANTS (Gardening thread)
I'm growing cherry tomatoes and they're great I always randomly go and pick a bunch, I could eat cherry tomatoes all day
Also I always grow cucumbers and parsley as well, fresh parsley is amazing to just eat by itself... I've grown raspberries in the past but theyre like, super thorny and I don't like to pick them lol Last edited by komochii; 07-24-2018 at 10:20 PM.. |

YEY GARDENING!
I just moved last september to a new house. No veggies yet but might next summer (Or we may focus on a fire pit instead. Up in the air right now!). Right now I'm just trying to save the roses (lots of them) that the previous owner didn't care after. I also brought two of my own rose bushes from the old place. Battling a disease and sprinkling sevin on them every so often. Not sure if I'm winning or not |

it's been stupidly hot these past few months with barely any rainfall it's a garden: tomatoes: pumpkins: poor zucchinis aren't gonna make it: sunflower out of whack: got rid of the beans, they didn't become green

Re: FFR PYP: POST YOUR PLANTS (Gardening thread)
Oh wow, what an impressive garden!
It's been the opposite lately around here it's been overcast for almost two entire weeks. My plants are doing ok, but they need some sun sooner the better |

Sunflowers are amazing. My husband likes them a lot and again, since I'm spending so much time this year trying to save the front, don't have much time to plan out the back. Not much of a multi-tasker. Didn't know they got THAT big! Last edited by Magiante; 08-5-2018 at 07:24 PM.. |

no idea what I'm supposed to do with that thing july's weather was abnormal, 1.6mm precipitation in a month and 2 weeks where it stayed above 25C including a day where it was 37C that probably caused it
