It's because he carried a legacy. People tend to remember famous people. I'm sure not many people (besides those who were close to him) are treating this as the greatest tragedy to happen to them, but they remember him for his music and other stuff. Do you understand?

I was never really into his music or anything, and sure he was accused of doing some bad things, but all dead deserve at least some respect.

I don't think he's really dead.

1, he was at a friends house before he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and you know how easy it would be to just take him somewhere else, hop on a plane, and go somewhere and have another ambulance switch?

2, there was a fire alarm pulled at the hospital where he was when he 'died.'

I don't know, just sounds a little suspicious to me.

Any of you who are being mean or disrepectful about this are ****ed up and rude. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all, in this case. I'd expect more from a mod (Guido) and a forum vet (banditcom). Michael Jackson was an ICON. He's a symbol to the entire world of America and Michael's talent and legacy symbolizes the great amount of talent that America has and has put out over the past 45 years. I grew up on his music and I can't believe he's gone. RIP MJ
