Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Wow, this was my first time playing solo...
Holy **** it was incredible. stargroup, kudos. I know you've been pushing this idea for a very long time and to see it finally come to some type of fruition has to be gratifying for you. I enjoyed this a lot, and I honestly hope for some development. I did pretty well on that level 2 song - blackflagged it, but the difficulty jump to Amefuri was too much and I got wrecked. Either way, I'm hooked. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Am quite impressed how its been implemented so far lol. Only thing is, the levels given are WAYYY off (how is PxFxS a 9 rofl)
Other than that, maybe a mirror and random option implemented would be nice haha |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
mirror maybe, random no. shuffle is stupid
and yes there's a huge sync problem going on. for some people it's fine, for others a file might off by half a beat. that's probably why you're getting a lot of goods. I actually have no idea how long this will take to get fixed. we thought we came up with a solution but then the files became choppy T__T yes difficulties are a bit off because I improvised them and added them according to my initial reaction to the file. they're not important, as I'm probably going to come up with a new system and redo them. feel free to suggest corrections though.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
I'm really liking this idea even though I still suck at solo.
Keep up the good work.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
The sync problem appears to be fixed.
Meanwhile, here's a 60fps attempt: http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1249916638 This actually allows a more precise arrow placement, but its looks so weird to me. Also it seems higher speeds are more bareable now, playing with 3.2 wasn't that hard at all. Need feedback. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Everything is still playing out really early synced for me. Is there any way for me to fix this?

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Did you adjust the number of judgement windows?
It looks sped up to me I think because you didn't adjust how quickly **** disappears.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Pretty choppy on Vista, the 30fps versions ran practically fine though.
Playing it on XP it's really smooth. Are all the judgment frames the same though, making them half the amount of time to hit due to doubled FPS? I was hitting all goods trying to PA ;x File was pretty early this time around, I had no problem with sync on any of the previous files though. Last edited by [TeRa]; 08-10-2009 at 10:44 AM.. |

Halo, which file is early? The old ones haven't been updated yet.

All of the songs I've played feel really early, including the 60 FPS version of Battle Breaks.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Timing window fixed
http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1249918549 This could also be an option, setting the game to 60fps or 30fps or anything in-between. Anyway I'll just leave it at 30fps for now. Last edited by bLasTamos; 08-10-2009 at 11:05 AM.. |

60fps has a better feel to it
